DIY Dorbz?? Customs?
I have recently seem some sick dorbz customs lately on IG etc...I was thinking it'd be cool if Funko released the DIY dorbz the way they have pops basically unpainted specifically for people who like to make customs. I've always been intimidated by how well some of the pop customs come out, but I'd love to try doing a custom dorbz that doesn't involve me taking one apart etc...anyone else think this is a decent idea? Anyone come across some really well done customs?

Are Jay did a really great Red Skull for me, and a nice Ben Grimm for Jsin. I think blank dorbz would be fantastic. I could recreate my horse**** pop in dorbz form!

I've tried my had at only 2 or 3 but wasn't happy with the outcome, until I made these. Extremely happy, but not for everyone.

I am unable to do anything amazing with art. But these could come in handy when I need custom pieces for the person I use for all my Customs.

Sounds like a lot of fun, dorbz are a simpler shape too so might be a good start for beginners. What are some of the IG customs you guys have seen?

I think this would work if they did a Dorbz XL DIY. Give you more of a canvas to work with.

This is true. I'm not an artist level customizer but I've done quite a few customs in my time, pops, wobblers, hikari, dorbz and the size of a dorz made everything much more difficult.

I’ve done some dorbz customs. Quite a few Freddy dorbz too. They are a lot of fun but more challenging than you might think. Because they are all flat surfaces there is no where to hide. @arejaydesigns on IG does some phenomenal dorbz customs.

Actually, that would be cool if Funko did that and release DIY Dorbz. I'm sure there would be way more customs out there if they do.

DIY Dorbz would be awesome, not limited or something like 10k LE, not like those DIY Retro Freddys as previously said.

You should look into buying a TLS red ranger. They have removable helmets and it would be a good size to hang off of Freddy’s hand!

Relaaaaax! Haha. I use the cheapest paints I can find, hot soapy water will wash acrylic paint away if you want to start over, and what is this “up to par”?
