I'm sure many people know, but the former TRU exclusive Solo set is available from Funko Pop Up Shop: https://www.funko-shop.com/collections/ ... splay-case
Not my photo. Some are saying the ratios don't make sense and that Tobias may be a 1:24

Man ... I hope these aren't only going to be available directly from Funko. I hope they figure out a way to get them into a retailer's stores. I thought they were going to re-brand them as a 2nd Target case?

Yeah, hopefully you get one of the hard to get ones. Because every case should have 2 short print ones.

I just need those last three exclusives... but I don't see a good chance of getting them now. Don't want to spend $60 on a 1 in 6 chance of getting a case with the Han Solo exclusive in it. Not worth all the doubles IMO

Re: Solo: A Star Wars Story Mystery Minis
I've been looking at the insert ratios, and the math doesn't work out with the "TRU" case ...
4 x 1:6 = 8 boxes
3 x 1:12 = 3 boxes
That leaves 1 box that isn't a 1:6 or 1:12 ...
The 1:24 and higher boxes are:
L3 1:72
Stormtrooper 1:36
Enfys 1:24
Dryden 1:36
Han 1:72
So let's say you buy 72 boxes (6 cases) ... you will only get 6 of the above total ... but based on the ratios, this is what you should get:
1 x L3
1 x Han
2 x Stormtrooper
2 x Dryden
3 x Enfys Nest
That should be a total of 9 per 72 ... but there's only a chance for 6 based on the rarity of the others. So the only way the ratios of the 1:24 and above would work out is if one of the 1:6 was really 1:12, and one of the 1:12 was really 1:36 (Lando and Rio Durant were 1:36 in the Target Box but 1:12 in the TRU box).
Otherwise, the odds of getting L3-37 or Han with this mix is really 1:108 ... ouch!
Just a little math for everyone ...
4 x 1:6 = 8 boxes
3 x 1:12 = 3 boxes
That leaves 1 box that isn't a 1:6 or 1:12 ...

Always appreciate some maths... but that seems a bit overly complicated?
The pattern seems to be: 4x 1/6, 2x each of 1/12, 1/24, 1/36 and 1/72
So that means it's likely in the Target(? - The prisoner exclusives) a 1/36 should be 1/24 (Lando perhaps?) and in the other exclusives, a 1/12 (Tobias w/rifle perhaps?) should be a 1/24... That makes everything all even...

Re: Solo: A Star Wars Story Mystery Minis
I pulled the trigger on one of the TRU cases on funko-shop as well, even though I already have all but the 3 exclusives from that assortment.
My thought is that if this is the only way to get the range trooper, then the range trooper might not end up being all that cheap on the secondary market. The demand will obviously be there because it's Star Wars and the design of the Range Trooper is incredible. The supply might be pretty low, because you need to order an entire case to get two, and look how few people in the mystery mini enthusiast forum are willing to do that.
I figure if the Range Trooper ends up being around $15 on the secondary market, and if you are willing to re-sell your dupes, it could be not necessarily a good deal, but a defensible one.

The simplest way of all is just to add up all the fractions on the box. If it adds up to 1 it's right, if not it ain't.
4/6 + 3/12 + 1/24 + 2/36 + 2/72
= 48/72 + 18/72 + 3/72 + 4/72 + 2/72
= 75/72
which is over by 1/24.
Funko does this all the time, and it drives me crazy. How is it okay to just constantly print the wrong odds on these things?

Doesn't mattet is the math correct or not. The only thing mstters is if you buy a case you get lucky to get a 1:72 exclusive figure.

Bleh, I bought a Solo and Nick case for full price the other day. I emailed their support to see if they would retroactively apply the code and give me a partial refund. Doesn't hurt to ask to try and save close to 20 bucks.

Yeah, their quality control is for bollocks... Not as bad as the Harry Potter S3 ones though... No 1/72s listed at all, 5x 1/6s, etc...

Can anyone confirm if the Pilot Han in the white jacket is really 1/72? This always happens with the one mini I want most. Even the Pop of this outfit, I haven't seen it in the US yet. Ebay sellers are all Australia, UK, and Canada. What gives?

Case A has it, case D does not. So quite possibly an accurate 1/72.
