Babe Ruth, Mickey Mantle, Ted Williams, Joe DiMaggio, Hank Aaron, Ken Griffey Jr..etc
Ken Griffey Jr should be thanking you for including him with those legends
I could definitely see a Legends series with the greats from 1920's onward. Don't forget Jackie Robinson! And Yogi Berra
Griffey deserves a pop, but idk if he's quite a Legend. I'd love a Jeter pop, and I think he deserves it, but he's not quite a Legend yet either.

He's not a legend in the same way as Ruth and Mantle and Robinson. He may be one day, but not yet. He was just inducted to the Hall a few years ago! It's hard to be a legend when you're still alive, imo
But that doesn't mean they can't make pops of modern ballplayers with hall of fame worthy careers. Griffey is definitely one of the modern greats.

I think I posted something about this a while back, but it a great idea. As a San Diego Padres fan I haven’t had a lot of hall of fame players, but I would love a Tont Gwynn pop. He was an amazing player and he really changed the game

I think we can agree to disagree on that one. Willie Mays is still alive, is he not a legend? Ask anyone is Seattle their thoughts on Griffey and I think you’ll find a lot of people that don’t agree with that assesment.

I'm a Yankees fan in NY, I get it. Everyone here considers Jeter a legend, and I think he will be one day. But to me, a legend is someone from a past era of baseball. Mays is almost 90 and he played over half a century ago. Good for him for living a lot longer than a lot of his compatriots, tho!

Lol ok, Willie mays was just a much of a legend the day retired as he is today. Nothing changed over that half century. Just because someone is still alive, doesn’t mean they can’t be legendary. Is Joe Montana not a football legend?...3 Super Bowls say yes he is. He was a legend the day he retired. Is Michael Jordan not a legend in Basketball? Wayne Gretzky in the NHL? Sorry but someone doesn’t have to be ancient or dead to be considered legendary

I guess not. Google Funko pop NFL legends and you will find players that have all retired within the last 20-30 years so even Funko would probably disagree

To me legends are people who were able to achieve something that is very difficult to achieve regardless if they are dead or still sucking up air.

The day we lost him was tough, then Coleman was not long after. That was a tough year for padres fans

This would be a great idea! Hopefully each team has atleast 1 or 2 legends selected. Would suck if it was majority from one or two teams.

No doubt! Very excited to see what they come up with for his first one for the giveaway in September. I would hope to see him in any potential first legend wave as well

Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Teddy Baseball, DiMaggio, Willie Mays and the Mick would all look better in Black and White IMO. I would guess we'd see both and the B&W's would be the exclusives kind of like the I Love Lucy's coming out

Have you seen this video of George Brett describing a very unfortunate event he had? Be careful, there is quite a bit of cursing in the video.

I would most definitely love to own MLB legends Pops - regardless of how “legend” is defined. I am also a die-hard Yankee fan and Bleacher Creature but now I live in Vegas and don’t get to many games. I even had a dog named George Herman.
