Hooray! Funko cereal or Boo! Another gimmick from funko
So as we embark on the cereal journey do you like it or not
I mean 10 bucks for cereal is crazy expensive. Will you just buy one box and never eat the cereal or will you buy two just because you need to open and rummage thru the cereal like a kid again to grab the funtastic toy at the bottom of the box. I am torn so I'd like to hear your opinions!

10 bucks is expensive! I have collected some boxes of cereal over the last few years, say 5 years, once they started putting out different promotional cereals (Minions, Disney, Nintendo etc.) and when they put out Halloween special boxes for the monster cereals, especially Boo Berry. I may pick one or 2 up, but I do not know if I can be the completionist on this Funko items.

I love that they're launching a line of cereal. I think there's a market for it, at least with collectors of a certain age Sugary breakfast cereals and Saturday morning cartoons have a special place in my heart. I can't wait for the Freddy Funko Show to accompany the cereal.

Re: Hooray! Funko cereal or Boo! Another gimmick from funko
I bought 2 boxes of the cuphead cereal the kid in me needed to tear into a box, find that toy and eat the cereal! The collector in me wanted a nice looking box to add to my display. These are a gimmick cereal, no one is going to convert to I eat nothing but Funkos for breakfast. I assume they are all somewhat limited runs and once sold out they are gone and on to the next one! I think it's a fun idea and sales seem to be doing good, is Funko going to corner and conquer the breakfast market, not likely.
Also the Cuphead cereal was pretty good! A little sweet for my current tastes but pretty good!

Re: Hooray! Funko cereal or Boo! Another gimmick from funko
What does the cereal actually taste like? Are they all different flavors, or just the same flavor with a different color in each box? I was going to pick up the Gollum O's, but it just says 'multi-grain cereal' from what I can tell. And I haven't picked any up yet just because of the price. I kind of want to actually eat it. Haha.

I have heard, have not tasted the Gollum Os but apparently they are bad. The Cuphead (red cereal) was like a strawbrery/lemonaid? kinda thing.. it really reminded me of fruit loop, I would say loops but there was only one color so loop it is

I’m waiting for the Lion-o’s... I plan on eating the cereal and grabbing the Pop!. I’ll try to be gentle with the box so I can reseal it and then display it with the figure.

I think they’re fun to collect. I don’t find them to be expensive. Most people would pay $5 for a Pocket Pop! so you’re only paying an additional $5 for the cereal (as long as you’re not paying for shipping). But even with that it’s only a little more so I don’t think it’s really that much.

I'm on the fence about these. I won't get many, if I get any at all, but I kind of want Freddy Krueger and Pennywise. Not sure if I'd open them, but probably so I could try the cereal and get the figures out. I'd keep the box, although in my current location I wouldn't display them, just toss them into the piles of Pop boxes I have. Gimmick or not, they will be an interesting talking piece to have someday and I could even see unsealing the box and flattening them and displaying them like a picture on the wall. Who knows.

I ordered the straight up FunkOs. Only one I am interested in at the moment. I plan to open, get my Freddy and try the cereal. If it's good I will eat it. I will probably break the box down and stash it somewhere until my next purge I do when I start to worry about someone calling Hoarders on me.

These bring me back to when I was a kid and they said we needed sugar and carbs every morning as part of a well balanced breakfast. I'll probably buy one or two for the mini Pop and the box for display reasons but I doubt I'll eat the cereal. I do think it's priced a little on the high end, but that's because of the toy inside. I will definitely wait to combine shipping from the Funko Shop because I don't wanna pay that much shipping each time an exclusive cereal comes out.

I'm buying them for the pocket pop and the box, I don't eat cereal so the cereal will stay sealed. Heard that the figure is outside the cereal package so no need to open up the cereal to get the pocket pop!

I love the cereal line, $10 is pretty spendy especially if you get it shipped to you. I’ll probably just pick which ones I want the most. So far I’ve only wanted the Freddy Funko box.

I cant wait for the batman and batgirl cereal for I'm a super hero only collector for the most part. I was thinking on getting 2 boxes just because I want the toy but I'd like a unopened box also. You know how we r. There more collectable if u keep them in the box. But where to store these honking huge boxes full of cereal in my house. I'm full of pops everywhere I'm running out of room.. plus there is the box protectors to think about so they dont get messed up. Alot to think about guys! Funko makes my wallet sad every day almost . But dang we love them!

Yeah the box art is super cool. What different kinds of cereal would you like funko to make? Any certain characters? I know dc and marvel is a must for me.

So far I've gotten the Freddy Krueger and Pennywise cereals. I'm tempted to open one to try it out, but for now they will remain boxed.

I've bought several as I love the pocket pops. But have to be picky as the box is so big it will take up a lot of the pops room. May have to rent a storage space.

I love to try gimmicky foods! When I was a kid I'd try pickle bubblegum or other weird things. That said, I'm definitely eating the cereal. My palette isn't very refined so there's not really a risk for me taste-wise haha. I wanna try the Gollum Os because it's hilarious, but I think the only one I'm really getting are the Freddy FunkOs. I'm either going to grab them at HQ or wait to bundle online, because $16 for cereal even with a figure is kinda crazy!

If the boxes were bigger for that price I would buy it. I live on my own and I'm not paying that price for what amounts to 1 bowl of cereal.

Not sure if this has been answered elsewhere, but do they make box protectors for the Funko Cereal Box? I bought the Super Mario Cereal Box Protectors, but they are too skinny and don't fit the box. Any suggestions?

So I have my first 3 displayed already. Ate all of them and were the most part, okay. Not something I would consistently buy.
I open, eat the cereal and then present the box with the figure.
