So do you guys really want the Funko McDonald products to happen? Well, it's not much, but contacting Funko helps. It shows that there is interest in the product and that there are those who really want it. Here, I'll make it easy for everyone.

That's the spirit. The more people that Funko sees that are interested in this particular line, the more serious they might consider in terms of trying hard to get these released. There are a lot of McDonald characters fan. Speaking up, truly helps.

This was such an exciting line and I was stoked to have them pre-ordered!! Sad to hear they won't be around anytime soon...hopefully they can continue to work on getting these out. Obviously there is quite a following for these guys!!

True. Maybe McDonalds was asking for too much, but if there is interest shown, and Funko thinks there is a demand for their investment, then sending them messages wouldn't be useless. It would show them, there there really is a serious fan base.

I remember several years back BK used to sell video games and some watched back then as a promotion.

I really hope that McDonald’s does something similar with Funko Pops, although I’d imagine it would cause more issues with people complaining or buying all the stock.

I have no inside information or anything, but lately they've been putting some of the sought after items there as exclusives, it seems, so it wouldn't surprise me. I'm not a liner upper and won't pay eBay prices so I'm pretty much screwed if that's the route they go, if they are ever released at all.

My best guess would be that McDonalds isn’t comfortable licensing their characters after being blamed for childhood obesity last decade. They stopped using Ronald at all a few years ago too. Maybe a little more time needs to pass before they feel comfortable again. As a brand they have been working very hard to reinvent themselves.

At this point it could be a hundred reasons why they were cancelled. The biggest question is if Funko and McDonald's will be able to find a way to make it work.

With how popular the Ad Icon line has become, I'm hoping Funko might be able to pay the higher price McDonald's MIGHT be asking for. Who knows what happened, but hoping something is able to be worked out.
