How are people actually getting the Target Ad Icons? I look at Brickseek and Popfindr, go to store and find nothing. I really hope these are released online?

I was finally able to track down a get Cap'N Crunch himself. This completes my Cap'n Crunch set for now, I have suspicion there will be more added to the set 17, 18, and ,19 are missing for some reason ;)

Walked into Target today, saw the shipping boxes on the electronics counter down by the phone. I hunted down an employee, asking if I could get one. He looked in the box, which had 3 Cap'ns. He looked at them and said "Oh no, we can't sell these. There's not a release date on them." and scanned one with his little scanner. I said "Oh yeah? You can't sell them but the box is half empty?" He paused and said "Ok, I can sell them." Got a Cap'n out of it, but Cheese and Rice. I just now realized that I should have asked about the other box to see about a Sugar Bear. Oh well, hindsight and all that.

Went to target yesterday after they showed a restock a very nice employee checked stock and it showed 13 he went into the back and looked but came back empty handed and said try back tomorrow when all the stock has been worked. I said thank you for the effort and went on my way. Went back today and asked a different employee and before I could even give him the dcpi number he asked if,it was for the pop captain crunch which I said yes. He proceeded to tell me that they had them for a few days but were sold out now, I didn't push the issue because he was a younger kid and it is just a vinyl figure but I absoutely hate being lied to. I'm hoping for an online drop at some point but even if that doesn't happen I'm in a situation were I can afford to snag them off eBay but not everyone is as fortunate and there will be collector's who really love this figure line that miss out .If we were on the Reddit forum I'd be using some more colorful language for my story but I censor myself here.

Fair point. Sadly, this is the battle I'm partaking in. What would help is that Targets should be consistant of how the products are released. Every store seems to be different.

Kinda like how security at airports each do things differently.

I finally managed to find a Cap’n Crunch today. Woke up early, got there 30 minutes before open... walked to the Funko area and 2 were sitting there on the shelf. 1 was damaged.

My area has been bought out by two flippers who have been using family/ friends/ random shoppers to get nearly the whole case of each one. The resell value isn't too high so I hope they return them soon. Or an online drop happens.

The more they give target pops exclusives from Funko the more likely they are to be stolen or resold by the employees and flipped by non collectors. Especially with the ad icons which is a huge piece of my collection, it is an ongoing frustration to keep up wit getting them. ](*,) ](*,)

I completely agree but it’s hard to have every store on the same page like that. I think they should just put them on the shelves when they get them. No set release dates. So no one knows and is camping and everyone gets a fair shot.

It’s definitely case by case but I’ve had a real bad time lately with rude and uninformed employees. With the amount of exclusive content target has been getting I would really like to see them being a little better about putting them online.

I was fortunate to go into a Target yesterday (that didn’t show any in stock) and speak to an employee in a whim and turns out they had all but the Noid in the back. Got super lucky on that one!

I've decided to offload my Ad Icons and just focus on the Vynl ones now. In my opinion they look better than the Pops and can be had a lot more easily and for less money.

Quick question for anyone. I came to target to buy ad icons. Walked the store for a bit then went back to electronics for VYNL Tony/Dig em and saw an employee buy a full set of (4) icons. I got them today so I don’t mind but hearing the stories of can’t find boxes and all sorts of stuff would this bother anyone?

I was able to get Cap'n Crunch yesterday evening. No Noid or Sugar Bear left which actually surprised me because it seems Cap'n Crunch is the most popular of the bunch.

Same here, have only gotten the Cap and that as pure luck that I saw someone paying for a noid and asked target employee if they had the Cap n crunch pop and she appeared shocked that I asked and looked at her co-worker and he said he may have one and they had them locked up behind the counter. This was at around 5:30 pm and I could see they had more of the icons but told me one per person. Box was not mint.

My local target was getting in a case of all the ad icons including Twinkie. Got to Target this morning about little over an hour before and saw 6 people already line up in front. Decided to just turn around and go home. I’ll try on a restock for Twinkie.

It definitely has been frustrating only because work gets in the way of line camping at Target. So, I pretty much gave up the hunt. However, of course when I decide I don't want them, my friend is able to find me the ones I want in AZ. So, at this point, you just have to rely on your Funko family/community and hope someone pulls through for you.
