There's always that one Hikari grail

Postby Valkyrie » Fri Sep 07, 2018 12:43 pm

Does anyone else have an older or LE Hikari grail that they REALLY want but just can't find? For me it's the 2016 ECCC Green Grunge Groot that was LE 100. I have every Groot Hikari and Groot Pop! that Funko has made but Green Grunge Groot has eluded me for almost a year now. One was listed on Ebay back in July but it sold quickly before I could grab it. ](*,)

I've never seen this one before, I love the design and coloration. Yikes!!!! With a LE 88, he'd be even tougher to come by then my Green Grunge Groot.

Speaking of protos, I saw the Groot Hikari proto on Ebay earlier in the week......$750  I'm not lying when I say I'd LOVE to have this proto in my Groot Collection and would pay alot of money for it IF the authenticity of the piece could be verified by Funko. Not saying the ebay listing isn't authentic, I have no idea, but $750 is alot of change without knowing for sure. Does anyone else have a large Hikari proto?

Cool piece but $750 is insane for a Hikari prototype. Even the $350 starting bid is on the high side IMO. :mir1:

I collect Stormtrooper, darth Vader, and batman hikari. I'm missing sunrise Batman, but my real grail would be to find APs of every Vader and Stormtrooper. I have a few APs, would love the rest!

I don't even know if this one actually exists because I can't find any information on it besides what is on PPG. It's a "Creatures of Light" exclusive (sounds like a cult!) Storm Cloud Sheriff LE 66. There is also a Trick of Treat Sheriff that was exclusive to TT that was LE 10, but the Storm Cloud one is way cooler IMHO.

A friend of mine owns a clear Darth Vader hikari with silver glitter! It’s the only one I’ve ever seen. I’d consider it a grail but I know it’s NEVER leaving his collection! It sure is cool to look at though.
