So it'll be a mix of male and female characters or are you supposed to choose?

Well they say "X-Men" but they're female characters so I decided to be all-inclusive in the title.

Probably an unpopular opinion, but I hope we get a new Wolverine in here. The old one doesn’t meet my standards for Funko anymore, and I think they could do better these days.

Rogue would be my #1 pick if they do any of the women!

1. Where are you getting "and women"? It doesn't say that in the add.

2. Where are you getting January? That add clearly says December

3. Are you just assuming January 27 because MCU 10 years was November 27th?

I added Women because even though its not just "Men". I wanted to be more inclusive. The subscription is bimonthly so the next month in the cycle is January so there's a mistake in the ad. And the term ends on the 27th of the second month, it was like this for Venom, Deadpool 2, and Cloud City.

X-Men is inclusive. It’s the team’s name. If they weren’t inclusive, there would be no women on the team. Jean Grey, Jubilee, Storm etc. were all members of the X-Men. Fantastic Four had other members team up with them, they didn’t change their name to be more inclusive. No need to make something politically correct that doesn’t need to be.

I'm with you here. X-Men has featured Women, POCs and people of LGBTQ+ identities for the VAST majority of the time since its creation!

I also think that calling this box "X-Men and Women" is just appling the OP's own fantasies to this with zero information at all. As much as I want female representation in this box, that's not what it's called and it's not a guarantee.

Kills me there is no t-shirt. I'm dying for a serious Funko X-men t-shirt, even just one that is in stores!

I am very excited for this box, and I don't even really care much what's in it. That said, I'd LOVE to see one or two of the following:

New Wolverine yellow and blue suit action pose.
Updated Phoenix/Dark Phoenix pose
NIGHTCRAWLER
Bishop
Rogue
Jubilee
Gambit
Angel
Polaris
Sunspot
Warpath
Cannonball
Shatterstar
Longshot

And 40 more....lol

Going off the picture and the mention of classic X-Men in the description it seems like it could be based on the original team of Marvel Girl, Beast, Cyclops, Iceman, and Angel

First appearance Marvel Girl in her X-Men 1 outfit would be great. Sad there is no shirt.
Love to Collect the 80s stuff. Also chasing the OG Rocky Set. First Funko Purchase was 2012 SDCC.

Oh man, I didn't even catch the classic part and you'd think the pic would have clued me in. That's awesome, I don't even care which one they give us in the box as long as we get all of them! Professor X in an old style wheel chair would be good too to round out the group! I am very excited for this, I've always thought we needed a movie based on this group, with these costumes etc, so at least getting pops would be awesome!

I also want to apologize. I was a bit cranky and probably too harsh. You were right that it was January. I was kind of thinking that they were trying to return to their original months, but I was wrong about that. I will also say that, while I still think we shouldn't call the box "X-Men and Women" if that's not what it's called, Jean Grey is prominently featured in the marketing material!

To be honest, I don’t mind that Funko left a shirt out of this one. I’m starting to get sick of their shirts, they’re all black and most of them are really samey.

This box is tempting since there's a few characters I'm desperately wanting (namely Rogue & Gambit), and with the lack of leaks I may have to take the plunge and hope for the best.

As much as I’m a Wolverine fan, they’ve already done a box for him so I’m guessing it has to be someone not represented. I’m excited to see what’s inside just to see if it’s a production piece that I’d love to have the proto

I wouldn’t be surprised if we got some X-Men stuff around June when the Dark Phoenix movie comes out. Funko usually puts some stuff out with the Fox Movies, even if they aren’t entirely related.
