Sesame Street 50th anniversary
Next year will be a landmark year in educational television as Sesame Street will both turn 50 and be on its 50th season. Now if you recall Pops for many of the most famous characters were previously made, and I don't think Funko has the license at the moment.
However, with it being the 50th year there's many classic characters that could be made. Here's just several that could still be made:
Telly
Prairie Dawn
Two-Headed Monster
Yip-Yip Martians
Sherlock Hemlock
Amazing Mumford
Guy Smiley
Plus any vintage character I didn't mention, the human characters and possibly some of the newer characters like Abby if they want to go that route.
This also doesn't include any variants (who wouldn't want a blue Big Bird like in Follow That Bird?) or to finally finish the flocked line by releasing the four remaining figures we need flocked.
Would anyone else like to see something cool for this momentous occasion?

Oh a blue Big Bird would be amazing. Sesame Street line is possibly the most underrated line Funko has ever made. One character I definitely want is Barkley the dog.

Re: Sesame Street 50th anniversary
I just recently started collecting the original line and have enjoyed it. Thought it was going to be a lot more expensive going in but was pleasantly surprised. Definitely a lot of room to grow in the world of Sesame Street.
Love to Collect the 80s stuff. Also chasing the OG Rocky Set. First Funko Purchase was 2012 SDCC.

Technically shouldn't they all be flocked?

Yes they absolutely should. And most have a flocked version. Count, Oscar, Herry Monster and plain Grover dont yet.

To add, most of the flocked ones were exclusives too, so having a common release flocked one would be nice.

Wow, I don’t know any of the ones you named since it’s been decades I’ve seen Sesame Street. Maybe if I have toddlers in the future I’ll be introduced to the ones you mentioned

I also wouldn't mind some remodels of the pops we've got, with more detail and variants of them. Maybe a different box to go with them too, that adds on to the 50th celebration like showing Jim Henson with all the characters on the back, and a different color or design for the overall box? Like a brick design referencing the apartments in the street? Just my thoughts on it, hope funko does this!

Re: Sesame Street 50th anniversary
Funny enough, Sesame Street turns 49 today and its 50th is in exactly one year. That gives a year for these to happen, and they are planning things for the entire year so there's no bad time to do it.
Doing some searching and they are even asking for merchandise licensing partners for the 50th. Everyone can benefit from this. And not only new Pops, you can probably throw in Dorbz, Mystery Minis and plushes in too. Would love to see it happen

Super Grover was my first ever pop, I’d held off for so long but when I saw him I knew I had to have them!
Must haves for me would be Telly Monster, Two Headed Moster & Yip Yips. Would love a reporter Kermit but that’s obviously not going to happen!
