My partner surprised me with a couple Detolfs, a couple Michael's Baseball Bat displays, a bunch of acrylic risers and some pod lights for Christmas. Had a lot of fun setting up my new displays:

Here's my It wall! So far, I have every It (both 2017 and 1990) product Funko has ever made available for purchase (I'm just waiting on some packages to add to the mountain).

Have many pops but anime is my core collection so I only them.

They are in .45mm protectors from 7bucksapop and stack well, but I needed advice as to what type of wood I should put on the bottom so they have a flat base, any recommendations?

Any type of wood planks should work, as long as they're pretty solid. Cherry, maple, walnut, or oak are what I've noticed most people go for when it comes to building so they wouldn't be bad choices for simple base planks.

Cherry, maple, walnut, and oak are going to be expensive. I would recommend poplar. It is the second least expensive board (pine is cheapest) you can get at most home stores and is still attractive as is. You need to look through the boards to find a straight piece. To get straight, you need to eye ball the board by placing one end on the ground and put one eye at the other end looking down the board. You can easily see if the board is straight or bowed. You can also put the board on the floor and see if the middle is bowed off the ground or if the edges are raised off of the floor. I prefer to just eyeball the board by looking down the edge though.

Finally decided for the sake of room I would take some out of the box. I am pretty much an in box collectors but these are the ones I would never get rid of. The rest are on shelves all over the house and even big Tupperware containers for safe keeping.

Agreed! Are the lights remote controlled? I would imagine they would be since turning them on and off underneath the stands would be a pain.

Thank you, I wanted to stack them to the top but the higher it goes, the more it starts to lean towards the front so with that, I will have to install a second shelf to offset the weight

I admire that so many people do set up and display their collections. I'm too indecisive to follow through with an idea. Plus space, time, cost, etc.

Anyway... Well done though everyone - it's good stuff - I love seeing what everyone comes up with.

Ebay and Amazon have them in 9" wide and 12" wide. They're about $20 each for the 12"

Thanks! I noticed all the options out there after I posted lol. In the past I've used white, expandable spice racks but these are so much nicer looking and not all that much more expensive.

Super sweet use of lighting :glasses2:

Thanks!! It literally took me 45 min to talk myself into taking them out of the box. I was like look at everything you bought to do this lol. I am happy with them. I might hang the others from the top instead of underneath. Its ok during the day but at night it looks better coming from above.
Would you believe I just found the signature block? My name is Kimberly check out my foodagram @imonehungrynerd or nerdy stuff @thenerdelement
