Pretty neat find in Japan!
Was browsing a consignment toystore here in japan and came across this guy! My eyes lit up when I saw him... I just wish I had more room in my luggage to bring him home.

You could always unscrew the head from the base to help with getting it in your luggage or can ship it home. Can also find them on ebay for about the same price. Definitely a cool find and worth picking up.

Correct it’s a little above $50 with the current conversion rate. I know it’s not a super rare piece, but it’s just cool to see some of these older Funko pieces across the globe! Last time I was in this same store I saw a boba fett sdcc droids pop sitting on the shelf with no protector or anything for ¥50000. It’s crazy hunting sometimes.

The first couple of times I came here I brought an extra suitcase just for toys. I need to behave myself this trip because I’m with my wife and kids and we already have enough to carry

My rule of thumb is to just knock off the last two numbers and you have a rough estimate as to the price. It’s kinda funny here though because ¥1000($10) is the smallest paper bill. ¥100($1) and ¥500($5) are both coins as well as ¥50,10,5, and 1

I believe roughly 1000 of these were produced. Hopefully it's not too hard to find. Good luck in your search and I hope you find one Cliffy.

Thanks man. I also wandered into a vintage American toy shop in Osaka called Astro Zombies. They had a case with some older Funko wobblers there too! Ended up bringing home a sike-o-Shriner wobbler for one of my buddies.

Awesome find Cliffy! Are there a lot of toy stores, like where you found him, in Japan? Would they be more in the city or suburbs? I'm slightly planning what to do and where to go in case I ever do end up in Japan. I'd definitely bring an empty suitcase for toys. Lol
This be Aud, o2thedbld, odd!

from the angle it seems pretty big? how tall are those? I didnt think a regular wobbler would be to hard to fit in a suit case?

The best store to buy brand new Funko is Toysapiens in harajuku. I enjoy hunting for older stuff at the Mandarake stores. There are a few scattered around Tokyo! Good luck.
