The Little Mermaid Mystery Minis Series 1
With only 8 figures in the set so far these look like they will most likely be package similar to the Winnie The Pooh or the Mickey Mouse minis with the windowed display boxes. Bottom 3 figures in the second picture are from the 5 star line of figures.
Me when I find the Mini I’ve been looking for

These look amazing. I am going to need all of them and all the 5 Star line. I hope since it is such a small set they do it like the window box sets.

I'm liking the new trend of mystery mini's with a window. It makes it easier to collect the whole series.

Curious why the limited it to 8 when they could easily had a full set- missing a regular Eric, scuttle, triton, eels.

Its curious why there are just 6 when they could have made a full set. They could have also had Vanessa (Ursula in human form), Ariel in her shipwreck outfit or in her blue/glittery dress at the end, Max the dog, or any of her sisters.

I found a picture on instagram that looks legit and they are now that stupid cutesy style they use on harry potter and the previous disney princesses and companions and villian and henchmen sets. Im canceling my preorder! Its a shame cause i was really looking forward to getting them!
Ugh, that would be a shame. The original artwork looked similar in style to the new Ghostbusters minis, which I am loving.

I like the 5 Star line more than the MM... something about their faces.

Both have their own style and uniqueness imo but I understand what you are saying about the distinction between the faces.

Yes... I loved the Disney Princess MM style from a while back. it's not terrible...just not my favourite.

I just hope the ratios aren't stupid. I only want Flounder and Sebastian minis. If they're crazy ratios, I'll just get the 5-star, take the animals out and give the Ariels to local children, haha.
Or did you think I'd be too stupid to know what a eugoogoly was?

i agree the penguin style works for HP and the princesses. Now would it be cool to have a different style- sure, but for goodness sakes they need to keep it consistent for now...

Re: The Little Mermaid Mystery Minis Series 1
Is anyone else bothered by the fact that the original design of Ursula with the Trident was accurate (missing the seashell necklace as, by that point in the film, it was torn off her neck and destroyed), but the FINAL "cute" design...WRONGLY still has the necklace on? That alone makes me not even want it. I'm also not sure why we got two unnecessary rehashes of Ursula and no Vanessa, when the Disney Villains & Companions Ursula was fine...

It bothers me too. Just like how the HT Ursula in the 2 pack with Cruella also has it. Thankfully neither the 10" Ursula nor the Heroes vs Villains Mystery mini has it. I don't like the style of these minis at all though, so I passed on all of them. I was hoping they would use the same style as the Aladdin MMs, but sadly they did not.
