Aren’t there other toys out there called YouTube heroes? I kind of remember seeing them sit on shelves in target until they eventually wound up on clearance. I would see the pops with similar issues. As a parent with a kid who loves YouTube if she tried to convince me to buy her a YouTube celebrity toy my answer would be heck no.

I could see these having a small appeal, especially with younger collectors who tend to be the YouTube generation. Not sure a wide release would do very well though.

Yeah they did exist lol

I remember a majority of the characters being Minecraft YouTubers which I guess would appeal more to kids but they really didn't since they ended up in the clearance bin.

It would make sense for Funko to make a run of 1,000 to 2,000 of these "celebrities" and push them at VidCon. They would have no problem cleaning out inventory.

Unfortunately, this is a very niche genre for Funko to make Pops or other products for. Many Funatics may enjoy one streamer and buy Pops of them, but a larger number of Funko customers probably never heard of the same so-called "popular" streamer. Funko would more than likely avoid this market due to its unpredictability.

...Still, I wouldn't mind seeing a Markiplier or Jacksepticeye Pop on the shelves of Game Stop. lol

I'm still amazed that Youtubers is a thing. My niece loves watching Cookie Squirrel (?) play with toys. Maybe I'm getting old, but when I was a kid we used to love playing with this and watching someone else play when you couldn't was torture.

I could see specific ones being popular but they’d have to be recognizable. A lot of normal people Pops can be hard to recognize and I don’t think those do well.
I personally wouldn’t pick them up, celebrities in general aren’t really my thing. However, there may be a market for them.

Pewdiepie would definitely sell. Especially if he had an exclusive for his web shop. I don’t know of anyone I’d personally buy but I think he’d sell plenty.
