Ghostbusters Mystery Minis Series 1

Great things come in mysterious miniature or pint sized packages, but which great thing will it be? It's all a mystery until you open one. Then the fun begins.

Yeah, 3/4 of my Deadpool minis are just leaning on one another for support.

Those GameStop exclusives look awesome. I might just get my case from them. Hope the ratios aren’t too bad.

With this set having specialty series, I hope that everything is 1:12, but we'll have to wait and see

This one looks more "cutesy" than the horror series. I'm interested to see it in person though! Sometimes they look different than the glams.

lol , you know it's going to take more than a fall like that to kill Deadpool! Gonna have to get a bit more inventive if you want lasting harm (but yeah, what was it about that DP set that just refuses to stand up??)

That would be awesome, I could totally talk my comics guy into ordering the set if they're 1:12! Poor guy - he's never dealt with mystery minis before, so I was giving him a crash course about minis, ratios, weights, etc. He was looking a little wild around the eyes when I left...!

And if they all have them like at the fair I hope they can be removed from them if you so choose.

I know NECA puts holes in the bottom of all their figures and sells packs of universal stands in case you want to use them. I really think Funko should do the same thing and heck they'd get more money if they sold packs of stands. Lots of times I'll bump into my desk and tons of my minis will go tumbling and I feel like stands would definitely help stop that.

I stopped by my GameStop yesterday to ask about the pre-order I placed on these. The website lists a release date of Monday, May 6th, but I was told they don't have a street date until early June (I think she said the 2nd)).

Usually they are meant for HQ and local comic shops. Some online retailers have them as well like Gemini and BigBadtoystore but you have to order a full case I believe. Best bet is to check with any local comic shops that carry mystery minis. Best of luck hunting!

I also put it some preorders, so that my Gamestop would get at least a case (hopefully 2). I was wondering when they would be coming in as I thought it was scheduled for May. Looks like I'll have to sit tight a little longer since they told you date has changed to June now.

The date on the website now says June 2nd as well.

I did see the ratios were mixed and not all 1/12. But I wonder if the exclusives will be 1/12 like they have been lately.

I hope so I really don’t feel like hunting down any 1/72’s from the specialty series if there are any. I’d prefer any exclusives for this set to be 1/12

Not sure if it was confirmed but I saw a picture floating around that the exclusives are 1/72, 1/24 and 1/24 including the Specialty Series ones. I will probably not be going for this set if that's the case. 1/72 exclusives are just too difficult for me now.

1.72 specialty series will be a pain. I think the only one we've gotten were the Sailor Moons. I bet everyone has the full set of Sailor Moon minis but just missing that winking Sailor Mars...

I definitely cashed in my luck with the Sailor Moon case since I got all three of the Specialty Series ones in one case from a comic store (I had asked them to order me some). I don't think I'll be able to repeat that luck lol

Yeah that’s just as bad as the Stranger Things set. Hopefully their weights will distinguish them pretty easily from the rest and/or the sweet spots will be easy to find

I only want a few of them, but don't know if I even want to try and mess with them.

Yeah it’s really bad, it means that only 4 out the 12 in a fresh case wont be 1/6. Definitely not buying a full case for these ones that’s for sure. Two 1/12’s, one 1/24, and one 1/36/72 per case and the rest will be 1/6  ](*,)

At least the 1/6s make sense as a set, unlike Stranger Things or Sailor Moon where one of the group was 1/12 or rarer than the other core members.

Ouch with these ratios I'll pass and wait for ad icons with the same ratios.........miss the old days with 1/12 and rare figs, but having a layout. 1/6 just take the fun out of it.
