I love that they’re doing this, but I wish I could go to the game and get one. I guess that’s the idea though right? To promote Pops and increase attendance at games

Cool looking pose for the pop. It seems definitely harder to get than the Ken Griffey Jr pops = free vs $200 lol Good luck to those on trying to acquire these!

There was a booth at Silicon Valley Comic-con run by the company that distributes some of the sports teams pops and were selling BB-8 GIants (and several others, along with other Giants bobbleheads and such) for $15 each last year, I can't recall who they were....

Pretty sure the Padres and SDCC coordinate so that the con and any home games don’t overlap.

Yeah SDCC is one of the biggest events for San Diego each year (as far as tourism), Petco usually has the park blocked off during this time of the season to accommodate SDCC. with that being said though, I'd still love to see a special Padres related giveaway or SDCC themed pop.. I'm thinking the San Diego Chicken!

You guys are correct. Padres are playing away games during SDCC. Now that I think of it parking and just getting around would be a nightmare nobody could deal with. But yes Padres Funko night would be awesome. :freddy3: :freddy3:
