Set up a few shelves for my Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts collection. I need to add a few more shelves for the upcoming wave and the outstanding pops I haven't managed to snag yet. Any suggestions on rearranging the collection to flow a bit better?

I clearly failed at talking you out of getting them all but they look so good I am glad you got them.

I seriously did not anticipate them looking so good! I’m a chrome convert.

Recently switched how/what I’m collecting which opened up a shelf to get pops out of the closet, however in this war the shelf won! Far too many Spidey pops not including the grails/con/oversized pops but I’m kinda digging the look from the side! I usually display OOB or face forward but part of collecting is the attraction to the packaging for me; so they’ll stay like this for the time being until I can find something permanent.

Superb display! You can also extend the layer a little, so that you can display the box sideways, and do OOB in front!

Out of curiosity, did the package state the amount of weight it can withstand?

I wonder who will be the first to have a motorized shelf display. Push a button and the shelf switches to entire different set of Pops. At least me, sometimes, I'd like to switch things up.

50lbs for the shelf itself. The brackets have anchors that hold 50lbs each.

Nice setup. Shelves look similar to some my wife had me put up for us. I say us but I think she's more addicted. Soon I think we will have no wall space without a shelf and assortment of pops.

Motorized would be fun but difficult I like the idea of lighting but have no idea where to begin in terms of power. Any experience with lighting on wall shelves?

Try a wall outlet those often are a great source for power. However they are a horrible place for a snack.

I'm not a motorized/electrical experienced person, but get me drunk and have a bunch of motorized components on hand, along with a friend, I can probably figure out something.

For your last question. No. I'm a plug and organize person with lights.

Hope you figure something out. The motorized part, could be a simple shelf rotating, kind of like hidden rooms.

Wouldn’t there be cords running up to the shelves? Have you done battery powered shelf lighting?

Simple like a hidden Room. Makes me feel like I need to go to haunted mansions and asks ghosts how they build secret rooms.

Yeah if you use a traditional outlet you would have wires that you could hide with cord covers if you wanted them to be subtle.

I have moved existing outlets before. That way the outlet could be behind the shelves or pops then you would have less exposed.

Only issue I see with battery powered is if you have multiple shelves youd end up with a lot of wires to hide and batteries to replace.

Definitely suggest LEDs though. Less power consumption.

Dont lick outlets kids!

Wouldn’t there be cords running up to the shelves? Have you done battery powered shelf lighting?

Yeah if you use a traditional outlet you would have wires that you could hide with cord covers if you wanted them to be subtle.

I have moved existing outlets before. That way the outlet could be behind the shelves or pops then you would have less exposed.

Only issue I see with battery powered is if you have multiple shelves youd end up with a lot of wires to hide and batteries to replace.

Definitely suggest LEDs though. Less power consumption.

Thanks for explanation. I think getting outlets moved would be ideal but that could get expensive. I’ll have to look more into it. I would like to get lights for the shelves at some point.

Hope you figure something out. The motorized part, could be a simple shelf rotating, kind of like hidden rooms.

Simple like a hidden Room. Makes me feel like I need to go to haunted mansions and asks ghosts how they build secret rooms.

So many possibilities with these motorized secret Pop shelves.
