BimToy is doing that now with coins. They haven’t mentioned what the perks are yet but It’s a really awesome idea.

Crazykidrev wrote:This concept would be amazing if they figured something out the way Reis and his team at Bimtoy did the coins with random Tiny Ghost purchases.

Maybe like a very select few funko-shop orders to receive different tier level coins and give you special access to the booth at cons if you don’t win the raffle? Perhaps only allow you to buy a select amount of pops at the booth during cons if you don’t win the raffle?

Probably a crazy idea but my mind is just spewing ideas out at this point

I like your ideas. It would be really cool to randomly receive a coin just because you already love funko and just happened to purchase something from them. To be able to turn the coin in for some special access would be awesome. Definitely lots of possibilities here!

Exactly what I was thinking too, if it comes down to being exclusive for each country, it actually would allow us Funatics to communicate to each other around the world... maybe as "pen pals" so to speak, sending the coins through mail.

This reminds me of those coin machines where you can have coins made. Like the ones at Disneyland or any other tourist places. I think you pay 51 cent (two quarters and a penny) to get a special coin.

The perks used to be that anyone who bought a Funklub membership would automatically be entered into the weekly drawings for prizes during releases on the Funko shop. These would either be a proto, a prize pack from the previous weeks or when it first started, free shipping or discounts on the shop. They'd announce the winners in the weekly email. I haven't seen one of those happen recently, though.
