The perks used to be that anyone who bought a Funklub membership would automatically be entered into the weekly drawings for prizes during releases on the Funko shop. These would either be a proto, a prize pack from the previous weeks or when it first started, free shipping or discounts on the shop. They'd announce the winners in the weekly email. I haven't seen one of those happen recently, though.
I was Funklub Member of the Week recently - it was a discount code for the Funko Shop and they said it'd be in the email but it wasn't. A while later I got Funatic of the Week, which did have a proto and a Social Media Freddy figure!

Sucks you didn't have the discount code
FOTW and FunKlub are separate though. You don't have to be a Funklub member to submit for FOTW.

I would love to see them make a funko fundays coin. I think a coin for each event would be such an awesome idea. It could be like a nice little collection to grow. A good trip down memory lane over the years.

Kind of a novelty item, some bussiness's used them as promotional items. Currency for in store products, or just to put a design on and look neat.

Imagine these types of coins but funko
I think they made one last year to promote making fun. Would be awesome if they made other characters.
They definitely made one for making fun. It’s oretty cool. I’d collect a select group of coins.

Re: Funko Coins
I would be interested in this. Coins are cool, also small which is easier to keep
Life is full of questions isn't it? Though, naturally I prefer to think of them as Riddles.

I’d really like to see coins like they have for Tiny Ghost. You can trade them in for credit. They could include them in random purchases on the shop!

Maybe heads side could be the character and the tails side could say like Pop Marvel, Pop Dc, Etc.
Maybe also if it is a chase, exclusive, or limited edition coin they could be different colors. Chase Gold coin, Exclusive Bronze coin, and LE Silver coin

They had one for the Making Fun premiere I believe. It would be cool if they did more for other special events like Fundays.

Love that idea, just like the pins they gave out for sdcc, coins would be great giveaways,

Re: Funko Coins
I'm surprised that no one has taken it upon themselves to make coins. There are A LOTY of businesses out there that take your design and produce coins in any size, any finish, any shape. If you are familiar with geocaching then you know what Geocoins are. If not, look them up to see what is out there. You'll have to outlay a chunk of money to get them made but turn around and sell them for $8 to $10 to recoup the costs.

Why hubby and I had a few made as a gift for a friend but wanted to be careful not to make too many so we only did about 10 or so...

I think this should be open to more locations than just those places. Maybe every other Hot Topic should have their own machine and each location varies in pressed pennies.

Plus different pop designs for each store like Hot Topic gets Jack Skellington, Goku, and Iron Man.
