Besides the near impossibility of getting these two.....they do look pretty sweet!!

These limited numbers are way too low. Was considering to buy the whole set now, but optimistic considering these will unfortunately never be in my collection

Re: Parks and Recreation Pop!s
Business wise I see the appeal of them putting them into mystery boxes and having such a low number count. It will definitely sell a lot of boxes. Personally, I’m glad I gave up on the Parks and Rec line because these would be very difficult to get. Plus you will have all the people who didn’t care about Parks and Rec wanting it all of a sudden because of the rarity. Good luck to those that really enjoy the show and/or love the character.

Sucks that it’s only limited to 500, but at least everyone will have a fair chance at it. Could have been worst, for example = gold hopper

Cause both the Mouserat shirt and the Karete outfit Pops are LE500, based on the sticker.
I think it's just the same LE 500 sticker on both pops bc it's 500 TOTAL and then you throw in some chases in that 500. I don't think there'll be 1,000 but I could be wrong. They just left the sticker on there bc it's a chase of that other pop.
Yep, great call, I agree with you on this take, and believe that this is the more likely scenario.
If this is true, then the chase becomes more harder. If will be like 80ish to 400ish if it’s 1:6. Definitely more harder to get, yikesss!
Good luck to all those planning to get the two variants!

Yup, exactly! This is one way Fugitive will be able to move their left over inventory at lightning speed. The mystery boxes are a smart move on their end, obviously not so much on our end. This is going to be tough to get and now with the chase involved the stakes went up even higher.
I know, right?! I like how they threw it out there like it was an after thought ‘oh by the way, there’s a chase’.
Ironically the mystery boxes makes these a bit more attainable, albeit through rng. Had they put them up for a direct purchase they would have evaporated immediately. Granted anyone not lucky to get one will get Fugitive’s shelf warmers.

Man, that low piece count is rough. I love the show, but never felt like I needed the Pops. Now I feel even better about that decision.
Or did you think I'd be too stupid to know what a eugoogoly was?

I agree. It makes these slightly more obtainable if you happen to have rng on your side. I hope to get one but I've been burned by mystery boxes recently. I'll probably wait a bit before taking my chances.

From the faq -
How many pieces of Andy Dwyer Mouse Shirt and Johnny Karate are there?
This run is 500 pieces TOTAL. There are less than 100 pieces of the Johnny Karate Chase.

I’m thinking out loud here, but I think 1 mystery pop = $25 box vs $100 box, we might get 4 or 5 mystery pops.

I would almost prefer it if the $100 box just had one higher value pop in it. Especially if I get one at SDCC, since I don't really want to carry around a huge box.

So at around 5pm or so? Thats going to be pretty difficult...gonna keep a window open just in case. Might go for the lower end mystery box as Comic con is right around the corner so want to save money for that.

I get the sentiment for sure. I was born in 78 so The Karate Kid was a big part of my childhood, but the LE 100 Parks and Rec POP! is going to be so expensive. If you can't get it through the mystery box, unless you're willing to pay really high prices, you won't have another choice. An OOB collector would definitely benefit by putting one together for $80 rather than paying flipper prices.
