Honestly as a stockholder I think it’s a great idea. They will have built in niche with those who already collect. Plus they are starting small with four lines. I think it’s a smart relatively low risk expansion into a new product category.

Interesting was my first word as well. This is another way for funko to expand the market and add a little more stabilization. Smart thinking and you never know what might happen next.

I read an article about it being available at ULTA initially. I don't go in there so unlikely will I get one for the Missus

Tokidoki had a makeup line with Sephora years ago, so it's not unprecedented. I am in some makeup groups on Facebook, and the people in those groups typically LOVE Disney stuff so I can definitely see non-Funko collectors going for this. I think their next step should be to make some tools like brushes that have Pop toppers, or mirrors.

As much as I love Funko, it's a no for me. I am a makeup fiend but I'm going to be sticking to actual makeup/skincare lines. I won't however stop buying pops .

Just picked up one of the brush/bag sets online this morning! I think they are really cute so if they don't sell out quickly I'll probably snag the other 3 when the rest of the line goes live! Looks like the eyeshadow/lipgloss etc wont be available until the 22nd.

I picked up 2 of the lip glosses yesterday. They are a bit pricey at $12 each. I would really love to see funko expand the line into chapstick like lipsmacker with crazy "flavors" and characters appealing to boys and girls. Pennywise with cotton candy flavored Chapstick, Trix Rabbit with Trix flavored chapstick, Count Chocula with chocolate flavor, Eleven with Waffle flavor, etc... and give them maybe a $4.99 price...

That’s such a great idea about the chapsticks! I’m a fiend for makeup. Especially cute packaging but at $12 a piece? For something that probably won’t be up to my standards because, let’s face it, what does funko know about cosmetics?!? I give them an A for effort though

I agree chapstick would be great. I drove all over heck and creation trying to get the Ursula from Ulta for my niece for Christmas, but sadly found out the 2 I stopped at doesn't carry it in store. I ended up settling for a gift card...that's what I get for procrastinating

This was the first thing I thought as well. When i have seen many companies that don't do makeup or skincare as their primary function and I have tried their products, the end results have been bad. Extremely dry, itchy skin after use or rashes.

I wanted to like the makeup line but the chrome on the palettes is really disappointing and the designs on the brushes are super basic. They just dont look like a funko product, just a generic brush with little symbol patterns. Im not sure how successful the launch was but if they release any more products I hope they put more into the designs.
