Update on the Baby Milo Pop!

Hi,

I remember in 2019 the announcement of three Baby Milo pops releasing soon, including Bait exclusives flocked Baby Milo, Flocked Baby Milo with shirt, and gold Baby Milo. There were also his friends appearing on the back of boxes as well, implying a release of more Bape (Bathing Ape) characters. Does anyone know what happened with these releases or does anyone have protos of Baby Milo, photos of the other characters, or any other information?

I think whatever deal was to be made probably fell though. And I think if it did come out, knowing bape it would have cost $150.

I thought they lost license? I'm not too sure. But I wonder who owns those 10-15 that dropped at HQ

I’m sure the deal fell through to release these. The only ones to release to the public were at funko hq and I believe it was either 6 of each or 12 of each

been waiting for this one for a while now, I didn't know there was a small drop! I wonder if the people who ended up picking them up even know how rare it is. now I'm really curious who has it... haha

I hope that we still see this eventually. I remember getting excited when I seen it on display at the exhibit bape had. Maybe eventually it may still surface

I also remember seeing these. I think I was actually in Japan at the time that they were first revealed and I was really hoping they would drop at the Bape stores so I could just get them myself in-person. Hopefully they surface again - it's really a legendary collaboration.

I have 1 of each. My question is will Funko acknowledge them? I got the Crazy Monkey pops too and it took a bit for them to show up in the app.

I remember this from last year.

If I recall correctly, there was a small allotment found at Funko HQ. I'm sure these were planned to be released later, but it seems that may have changed. With the current state of the world, who knows if these are still planned to be released.

All I know is that the few peeps that found them that one day at HQ are extremely lucky to own one :razz:

I could swear I saw a small allotment of these released at HQ sometime last year. There were no stickers or any signs of exclusivity, so maybe the ones that were found at HQ were the common version perhaps? #-o

I don't remember exactly when, but it was a surprise drop at HQ. I think they only had somewhere between 6-12 of them. I'm assuming just a couple of cases.

Yeah, you never really know. It might comeback in the future. Maybe there was an issue with the license, and they are just sorting some things out before they make an official announcement.

The ones who truly wanted this probably found the few that dropped on the secondary market back in 2019. Now that we hear the license might have been cancelled, these fellas are extremely lucky and will be glad they pulled the trigger lol

I thought, for sure, these would make their debut at Designer Con or SDCC. It's a bummer to learn these may never see the light of day. :-/
