I would have preferred the look of the original pops (cartoon) and just done some of the B list characters. TMNT fought so many people over the years, and we have none of them.

We’ve got a decent list of villains

Shredder
Bebop
Rocksteady
Baxter (x2)
Leatherhead

I could see them making more in the future too so fingers crossed!

Loving the new poses on these.

I'm just a bit confused with this line though... The 4 Turtles and Casey are clearly based off the 90's movies... but are part of this new 'Retro Toys' line (when they should really be part of Pop Movies). And they are announced alongside a new mold of April... which is from the 80's TV Series. If anything, the 80's ones fit as part of the retro toys line but the movie versions don't really. I'm so confused lol

I remember having loads of the 80's TV Series figures as a kid. Good times. ;-)

By looking on the Funko app, the Turtles are numbered 16, 17, 18 & 19 with Casey Jones as #20 then theres a gap with April at #34 that indicates they arn't part of the same set. I wonder if there are other TMNT TV Series remolds/new characters planned to be numbered around her? Just a thought.

I noticed the numbering gap as well, but since they are part of the Retro Toys line my guess is those will be filled by other Retro Toys. I do know another TMNT Pop is supposed to hit Target so hopefully we have several more coming!

Definitely need a Krang pop along with Super shredder. While on the subject of TMNT, do another line of minis. The first line was nearly perfect except they screwed up the shredder as he looked more like the recent cartoon rather than the classic one. So please fix him and add more villains like leather head. I can dream

i'm just as excited as anyone for new turtle merch, but i think it would also be cool to see some other characters get some pop love...hi tech comes to mind as a cool villain that could look awesome in pop form
