Blade Runner (1982) Pops!

Postby scullysdad » Thu Oct 15, 2020 1:00 pm

I was going through my collection just the other day and wondering why we had never seen these since we had them for the new movie. I am 100% getting all of these.

I definitely need this whole set. So glad they went back to do the original film. I love all of these, but that Pris and Roy chase are fire. Just sad I will never get to meet Rutger Hauer now (and slim chance on ever meeting Harrison Ford lol)

Love the Rachel. Not sure she needed to have a mouth - her hair and clothes are distinctive enough. I may display the older Deckard (from Blade Runner 2049) with this Rachel.

I hope to find that chase version of Roy!

Will likely get all of this wave - especially if there are hints that Gaff, Leon, Zhora, Sebastian, and Eldon Tyrell will follow. Maybe Chew too - who granted was only in one scene, but it is a famous scene!

The owl is conspicuously absent, which makes me think they may be planning a "movie moment" of Deckard interrogating Rachel, seated at the table with the VK machine between them, and the owl on a perch nearby.

I got a couple of the 2049 pops, but these are legit as well. I was a bigger fan of the original film, so these will be a good to get for me :)

Just as I am in the midst of losing interest in Funko, they drop my most wanted set. Albeit, a very incomplete set. I expect Gaff, Zhora, Leon, Tyrell, and Sebastian in the future.

I just preordered the chase bundle, no way I am missing out on both Roy Batty Pops. I can’t remember the last time I saw a chase in a store so I am not taking the risk.
