Re: Funko Fan Magazine
I think magazines are a dying thing so I don’t see this working out really. Plus it’s free to make an announcement on social media. Not against it but the closest thing we have now is the Toy Fair catalogs.

I still love print media, but yeah it's dead. I do love all the old school Funko catalogs though!

Re: Funko Fan Magazine
Great idea but maybe keeping it quarterly or 2x a year would be a good place because of the cost of print compared to social media is free. It reminds of the old Toy Fare or Wizard magazines we used to get back in the day.

Re: Funko Fan Magazine
Yeah I have lots of nostalgia for magazines. There's lots of cool stuff you could put in it besides new releases, such as funatic interviews or cool stories from pre-POP era. But the boards is the same thing, preserving all that stuff.
Would be neat but unlikely

I love reading so I wouldn’t mind it. And a Funko magazine release here or there would be nice to add to our collection.

Yeah - this is neat but sadly it’s a dying thing.
Closest thing we have right now that has the same intention but in a different medium would probably be Fun TV.

I've often talked to other collectors about this and it would be amazing a Fanzine of shorts...maybe I will have to start one. I might be dating myself but I remember getting the Toy Review magazines and the Toymarts and they were amazing I have a bunch of them in storage somewhere....

I like the blog, I wish it got advertised more and was a bit more interactive. I really only see them pushing it during cons, even pre covid layoffs. Not sure if I would subscribe to a magazine, I haven't for years

Re: Funko Fan Magazine
I think an annual release could be interesting. Could recap big news/events of the year with sneak peeks at the year ahead. Maybe some interviews and collection spotlights, etc. Lists would be cool too (top 10 selling Pop!s, best selling licenses, etc).

Maybe a small catalog could be done when conventions get back up and running to commemorate each release as a souvenir of sorts. I'd buy a small booklet with the catalog of what's available for that convention and maybe other fun things like puzzles and tidbits about funko or a place to get stamps or signatures for games.

Re: Funko Fan Magazine
I think this a cool idea. I think a digital magazine - maybe a four-six pager per month could be fun. There are programs/software that allow a digital flip through feature for such products.
