What’s your biggest Funko purchase?
What’s your biggest Funko purchase and the big question is was it worth it or do you regret it?

It was the shipping from New York to Cali lmao... now that s*** was expensive. I've spent willingly hundreds and thousands on protos and funkos but to pay 200 in shipping hurt lmao

Re: What’s your biggest Funko purchase?
The most I have ever paid was a little less than $400 for Beavis. I don’t regret it, it’s a great Pop and was vaulted before I started collecting, but I have not tracked down Butthead yet.
By this time next year, I hope to be saying my most expensive is Freddy Funko as Doctor Who. I have been saving a bit here and there to pick one up.

Re: What’s your biggest Funko purchase?
No idea what the most I spent personally was but I am CHEAP when it comes to Pops and the most I remember paying for an individual one on the secondary market was $50 for Doctor Doom in 2016
I’d rather trade if I want it that bad but no spending big money Pops for me…and are we talking individual pieces or hauls?
When I was more active as a retailer I would spend around $7,000 for a pallet of different items, that’s around two dozen master cases and that’s a little over 800 Pops and trust me, the shipping costs were pretty steep from Washington to NY…I think the smallest pallet was still over $700 to ship
Definitely don’t regret it and back then it was different doing business with Funko. It still felt like a mom and pop…They didn’t even have a switchboard and I would call and anyone would answer the phone…this is around 2016-17 and I remember Ashley started out answering the phones…every time I see her now I always feel proud of her because I remember those early years and the growth has been amazing to see and be a part of

Re: What’s your biggest Funko purchase?
I’m fairly new to collecting Funko Pop!s, but my biggest purchase was $395 for pink chrome Batman (2019 NYCC Exclusive). It was somewhat of an impulse buy and I had some initial buyer’s remorse for spending so much, but I really love how the piece looks. I also have the blue chrome variant, and am hoping to get the emerald chrome variant in the near future.

Re: What’s your biggest Funko purchase?
My general rule is retail or bust, but I have only bought 4-5 Pops in the last 10 years above retail. The highest was about $125 and it was a Freddy Superman. I can’t justify going crazy on the secondary market for Funko items.

Still have not got the nerve to spend more then $150 for a Pop. But I think the highest so far is a con sticker MHA Nejire. But we will see since there are some I will definitely need to pull the trigger on and spend the money on.

It's ironic because the most money I spent was also on the biggest item I own
I don't regret it because I think there are only 3-5 out there, but there is a decent amount of sun damage.

Probably $400 for the 13th Doctor. My big sales are much bigger than my big purchases.

Re: What’s your biggest Funko purchase?
The most I ever spent at one time was $250 for the set of 4 original Haunted Mansion ghosts. I've only spent $80 maybe a couple of times (I remember one being the original Genie) since collecting, but honestly won't really spend more than $60 for something, even if I really want to add it to my collection. I'm having a hard time finding a Creed Bratton Specialty Series set at a price I want to spend, since my last order didn't go so well. I have to have a limit somewhere, and don't have thousands to burn at once for my collection. Haha.
I'm a big fan of common sales, though. I very rarely pre-order right away unless I just absolutely can't live without knowing I'll have it in my hands eventually. I will pre-order exclusives when they come available, though!

The most I spent on a single pop was $90 on bloody Glenn, I was adamant about collecting all of walking dead at the time and I knew Glenn was about to meet his demise so I pulled the trigger. I absolutely hate paying secondary prices but I made the exception and I don’t regret it at all.
Also after reading your guys’ most spent, $90 is chump change, my wallets feeling pretty good right now

There's a lot of ways to answer this - like at the Funko book - 1 of everything was about $1,200.00. or do you mean on a single Pop?

About $75 for SDCC Bakugo. Figures the one pop worth splurging on for myself would drop so much in value but I have no regrets. He's my favorite character, I'd been hoping for an action pose Bakugo for years, it was my birthday, and with covid stuff I just really needed something to be happy about.
