Depends on the pop. I typically don't get my grails autographed.

Auto only if it's someone I really want to meet. I would more than likely have some sports Pops signed like Trout and Ohtani.

I do have some Pops autographed (mostly Dr Who), but it's not a have-to-have habit of mine. Do what feels right for you!

After missing out on autographs for Kobe Bryant and Robin Williams, if I have an opportunity to get one from someone I admire or like... I'm getting it.
Only get autographs on Pops that are easy to get again or special occasions where I'll get a grail signed (like anything Master Chief/Steve Downes related)

I have a few autographed, so yeah, I’m a fan of this move. It is also a “cheat” to have the character name next to the signature. Most guests will charge extra to have the character name included with the autograph.

Do you have any autograph collections going?
I think autograph funkos are awesome if you get the signatures in person it feels so much better.

One of my favorite autograph funkos is the Batman Jim Lee GameStop black and white. Jim Lee was able to sign it and I even had him sign on the figure.

I gotten a few for Naruto but since I didn't watch the show with the English VA I only got it cause I really liked the quote. I wish I was able to get the Japanese VA but that has been a job in itself with really no opportunities.

I agree with you both. Hence why I only have 2 pops autographed.

That's an awesome pop to get signed, congrats! I like getting pops signed at LACC, a friend showed me about getting them JSA certified. I don't plan on selling my pops, but it's cool to have it regardless!

I don’t have any autographed pops. I was hoping to get my Kanan Jarus signed by Freddie Prince Jr in NYCC but something came up and he backed out of the con.

Everyone has their prefer on signed pops. I personally do not collect signed pops. I have nothing against them but I just prefer to have mine without a signature

For me it would have to be a pop of that person to sign. Stan lee pop or fluffy pop. Or if it’s the creator of the property like George Lucas signing any Star Wars pop. If it’s a character pop or voice actor not really interested. Just me though.

Always sign on the window, color depends on the Pop.
I usually go with white if there is no color that really stands out to match the POP. For example, I have my Hawkeye and Kate Bishop signed in purple to match their outfits and the box, and Ahsoka Tano is signed in orange to match her skin. But America Chavez didn’t have a color that really stood out so I stuck with white.
Please Funko make Taylor Swift Pops!

My hair isn't nearly curly enough to be Annie!
My Simu Liu pop finally went through on the JSA website, there was much rejoicing throughout the land! My signed pop looks so pretty - I think a huge factor in yes or no for autographs is how the person actually SIGNS the pop. Some autographs are just an ugly mess. Simu's autograph is quite neat and stands out well on the pop.

Or the things that thwarts you after, if you choose the wrong color! I went with gold for a Benedict Wong pop, and it blends in too well to the pop itself.
Still worth it to meet Benedict though!

that is all part of the game, you have to find a color that compliments the pop but also one that doesn't get lost in the already existing colors. i had a rough color experience getting Thanos signed by Jim Starlin as Mr. Stalin is unfortunately allergic to the oil in paint pens, so i spent about a month debating whether i should go purple or gold for him and at the end of the day it ended up as black sharpie

I never thought in all these years that I would ever consider getting a pop signed because "everyone" does, but this past year yeah I joined the "everybody" hahaha. I went to Star Wars Celebration. And I decided to get a pop and picture signed by Temuera Morrison. I had also then months later at SDCC got my Inoske pop signed by Bryce Papenbrook.

Wow, I can't even imagine going through all this and dealing with an allergy on top of it! And all that...and then going with black? OMG!
I'm sure it looks awesome though! If my gold for Benedict has been a true gold, I think it would've worked, but it was more a bronze gold. Lesson learned for the future, I hope.

Welcome to the club, that sounds like a fun experience! It's a slippery slope, but we're a fun group. I'm already looking forward to my next autograph, and I don't know what it is yet!

Not a big fan of autographs on pops, too easy to fake not enough verification.

celebrity autographs are cool, but I don't quite understand some collectors' fervor to get Funko Management signatures on non-Funko Management Pops... but everyone is entitled and encouraged to collect however they like to!
