In or Out?
Prude brings up a good point...Which I think about WAY TOO OFTEN.
I struggle with the "IN/OUT" issue...I'm OUT...Most of 'em anyway...But I love the "clean line look" of Otto's collection. I've got so many out that it would take hours to put them back "IN". So what I'm gonna do is take new photos - since I built some 20" shelves yesterday too and hopefull you're all gonna tell me..."IN or OUT"...based on how my collection looks not based on "minty-mint value". Okay? Wanna help a brother out? I'll post pictures later!

Prude...We have a baby coming too! Our first...Due in late October. You?
And Wizeguy...It's sorta scarey isn't it? I've seen you post a few things and say exactly what I was gonna say. You are my son. What would I have been when you were born? 11? How old are you again little fella?
Taking photos in a few minutes. Paul

Box Art
Riot, I was 40 and my wife 28 when we had our son last year. I hope you and Monkey both let us know when the buns are ready to come out of the oven at your houses so we can raise lots of hoooopla here in Funkoville!!
The box issue.... The box art is so well done! Box art is usually just for marketing purposes but in this case it's also part of the whole trip back, so to speak. One of my favorite boxes so far is the recent Snidely. I like the way they gave it kind of an old silent film b/w style, similar to the coming soon announcement that they had on the Funko website.
I keep them all out of the box but with the box behind the Wobbler with the side facing out. The Wobbler stands a little to the side in front of the side window. (I should post a pic to explain) The box adds a background and helps to tell the story with its awesome graphics.
Riot, you have the ultimate collection. First time I've seen it. It would be easy to spend well over an hour in that room just looking. It's like a museum!!

About 90% in box. Easier to keep dusted and easier to display...in my case that is. The ones on my desk do seem to rotate though...When someone mentions something about a particular Wobbler (variation, question, or just the mention) I tend to take it down and leave it out until another gets mentioned....
Wizeguy,
The plastic is gone! Bluemolasses posted a picture once...He showed how he displayed the plastic that a Wobbler came in...He had an acrylic case with a crumpled piece of plastic inside...It was probably the funniest picture ever regarding this thing we do!
In or Out...I could go either way if I had it to do all over again...Riotcity's and Wizeguys displays are awesome and has made me consider taking them out...then again...why change what's already been done?

Super size the fries, please
I thought this thread was gonna be about hamburgers. We all know I like to keep mines minty mint in their boxes. If I had a bigger place, I wouldn't mind displaying some out of the box tho.

Awesome display. Wow...what a collection!
I am a newbie to the world of wobblers, and have been wondering the same thing. Do I keep em in the boxes...or take em out?! I just can't stand to see them trapped in the boxes, so I have let them all (all 7 so far) out! I can't wait until I get to build some shelves for them!
I see there are acrylic cases for sale, are those worth getting?

re
I keep all of mine in the box. I have always been a little torn on this issue. They look great all lined up on shelves in the box and out. I chose to keep them in the box mostly for the space and dust issue.
The acrylic cases that Ron at Nodder World sells are awesome. It would get a little expensive to buy them for all the wobblers, but I buy them for all the more rare wobblers.

Boxes
I'm in the box. I would love to switch once in a while and display outside the box but there is no way I'd have room to store the empty boxes. The artwork on the boxes is great, and really sets Funko apart from the others.
