Do you display Funko Pop in the or out of the box?
I would assume this question has been posed before but being new here & a little confused as to how to display my collection, I thought I'd ask the question here.
Thoughts please?

I keep mine in the box when I'm not using them.

BTW, i'm not as cool as elain to give you actual threads...I just gave you the search.
back on topic. I display out of box, but infront of the box turned sideways with the name showing. and stack them like stairs.

Thanks! In all honesty though, there is no right or wrong way. Pops are cool because they have aesthetically pleasing boxes. I do like how they take up less space out of the box though .

That's what I'm debating - I have 36 Pop's and yes I can stack the boxes but the figures out of the box seem to look cool. I'm just not sure I should be opening them, particularly the Glow Chase ones I have.....

It's nice because they're not factory sealed so you can take them out and put them back in fairly easily. The only ones I keep in the box are the flocked ones because of dust.

Out of box all the way.
If I wanted to look at a big row of boxes I could just leave them in the store and visit more often

Out of box usually, but lately I've become paranoid because of people . I don't get them to sell them, but I think about if I would eventually want to sell a couple, would they not be worth as much? But I just say screw it, that's the fun in it personally for me, I like to look at them out of the box.

Jasper I Love your set up. I too display mine outside of the box...I admittedly do not keep the boxes. I collect statues and their boxes take up a lot of space, so space is as a premium.

I display mine out of the box. I have my Pops in front of the box with the box turned sideways with the character image showing. My current setup only has room for maybe 10-12 more though, so I'd like to figure out how to do a set up with risers. I just personally find them more aesthetically pleasing out of the box.

Re: Do you display Funko Pop in the or out of the box?
I was really hesitant about displaying out of box, but I'm a lot happier about it now. I've got an Iron Man set in a shadow box, and the rest of them are scattered on top of a bedroom dresser, with a few exclusives still boxed. It's a lot of fun to rearrange them and see what happens.

I open all my toys and figures, so it's out of the box for me.

Is it blasphemy to throw out the boxes? I'm displaying out of box and the more I collect the more the empty boxes take up space and I kind of want to throw them out... Otherwise I'm going to run out of space soon
Georgia Collect Pop!; GOT, Disney, BBT, Despicable Me, Wizard of Oz & Back to the Future. Also collect mystery minis, love me some blind boxing. Big whoovian.

I think you'd have a much more difficult time trading or reselling them in the future with out boxes. You can always fold the boxes flat and store them in a bin or something.

In the box! Takes up more room, but luckily with these boxes I don't have to worry about shelf space--can pretty much stack them up anywhere and walls of Pop look awesome. Also, no dusting!
I can't imagine what it'd be like if Funko had Pop come factory sealed. I bet a lot of out of the box collectors would end up getting two of each just to keep one mint in box.

I store in boxes, only because I have a lack of room and they're easy to stack up. If you have a lack of space to I'd go with most in boxes and a few out - you can always cycle around.
I would recommend keeping the boxes. I threw out the boxes of the first two pops I got and I regret it now (and that was only about a month ago.)

I display 75% in box (All my exclusives and Wreck it Ralph set). I did buy some shadow boxes for my Ninja Turtles and Iron Man POp's though
