Awesome, glad that wasn't one of the ones I purchased. I'm gonna have to slow down for a couple weeks though, if I keep going at this pace I'll be broke in no time.

Hey Wil, glad to see that the monkeys got there. I have other original Funko items that I was going to posting on EBay, but I'll send you a PM to see what you're interested in.

Hook - line - we've caught one - a new wobbler collector and wants the originals too - smart man for sure. Love Surfer Dude, Johnny Fang, El Diablo (there are many of them), Bone Daddy - Mr & Mrs Tiki - who else.......in the wobblers? Nothing like a good old school wobbler - sounds like you're off to an amazing start - its' all about the hunt!

Not originals (although I consider almost every wobbler that Funko has made to be original or at least uniquely different than anyone else has produced), but you must have some (all) of the Funko Hanna Barbara wobblers. They are all amazing. Some of our retailers are still carrying a good stock of these at decent prices.
Then, of course, you'll need some Marvels, DC Comics, and a set of classic Jersey Shore!!!!!

Was thinking of doing that myself but might be a very slippery slope...

Collection is looking good Wil! It is a slippery slope Eric, I used to spend most of my time looking for Pops and it has changed to mostly Wobblers now. Now I just need EBAY to get on board, lot more bidders lately on the Wobblers.
They call me MJ/Mike

Re: Collecting Funko Original Characters
I've been thinking about getting a captain jack but so many other things keep poping up, and my summer job funds are dwindling haha. As for Hannah Barbara while I do like the wobbler, and will probably pick some up at a decent price, thankfully for my wallet I never watched much of their cartoons so its not a huge draw for me. I will prob start marvel/dc once my original funko bunt slows down.
It is a very slippery slope, but also an extremely fun one. And while it is expensive, it's no where near as expensive as it used to be or what pop pieces are selling for now. All the 48s I've gotten I've spent around $60 or so on, and that's the highest save for one piece I just dropped $100 for. Once those are all in ill post an updated pic.

Well, Jack Scare-Oh does use one original piece......Captain Chucks head, but it is set upon Dudley Do-Right's body.....still an original idea though.........

I love this!!!! Wil you are awesome!! This was my passion when I first started collecting! You have inspired me to get back to my roots and have me considering shifting my focus back to the Old School Wobblers (And Spastiks!! Jacob will be proud!!)

Re: Collecting Funko Original Characters
UPDATE TIME!
Starting downstairs, these are in my room with a few other wobblers because there is no real room for them upstairs in the computer/funko room.
I tried to get a picture of my whole collection that is on my wall, but they kept coming out all orange looking, but here it is, it looks nice in real life my computer room is not that orange haha
Now a close up from left to right of the shelves.
Bone Daddy shelf, he definitely needs some more love but all my money has been placed else where lately.
El Diablo in the middle, I've had a few very nice funatics give me some awesome prices. Especially kroffty helping me get the crystal el diablos
Now I know they are not Funko original and were designed by the drummer from LTJ but I found a bunch of these for amazing prices and couldn't pass them up.
So this is where the majority of my money has been spent, and the main reason why this update has taken so long. I keep saying I will update once everything that is in the mail gets here, but before that ever happens something new pops up on eBay or on the board that pushes the update back. I've ran out of room at the top of my computer desk, need to go buy some more shelves haha.
Speaking of mail, this is the piece I got today. My first Freddy Bank! Although he doesn't seem to talk. :/ If anyone knows where I can find a freddy holding bone daddy, it would be greatly appreciated
There is also a pretty big acquisition I won yesterday on eBay that is now in the mail too.

Very nice Wil. That particular Freddy bank is my favorite one--just love the coloring of him--plus, how can it get any better then a Freddy holding a Freddy.

That Freddy Bank will talk when you insert a coin. The mechanism is in the coin slot. You can also trip it with a straightened out paper clip. It might also need a battery.

I tried a couple quarters into it, nothing. So the battery may need to be changed.
I love it, I need to get a couple more banks. The Kiss and Dead E Freddy bank are tops on my list, besides along with the the Freddy holding bone daddy.

So I was just looking at the mini Freddy the bank is holding and thinking "wow that looks a lot like some of the older GITD funko used to make." Huzzah! I made a discovery that is probably only news to me, mini freddy does indeed glow! Was a nice find
Also, how do I change this battery? I want to know what this big boy has to say, I see where the battery's are held near the base where you take the coins, but can not get it open.

This is excluding my 2 banks and the minis, didn't fit up there. I'm about half way where I want to be which is one of every sculpt made, then maybe I will try to go for all the variants.
