Rogue One Pops

My favorite Rogue One Pop is the Target exclusive Jyn Erso. She looks awesome in that Imperial outfit. I don't like my odds of finding her, though. My Target is usually very hard to find exclusives at. 8 of these feel like must haves, with a few more being possible wants as well. The chrome Death Trooper looks awesome too. If I'm able to get him, I might skip the common one. The Walgreens in my area are nearly impossible to find exclusives I want at. Luckily they just get a minor variant of the Scarif Stormtrooper, which I can live without. I'll be happy with the common. I might check once or twice, but I won't hunt hard for it like I am for Rey. My wallet is gonna cry. lol

So the game plan here is gonna be just like for TFA...just worry about exclusives for now. The commons will be in abundance eventually. There's not an unbearable amount of exclusives here so...

That's my plan as well. I can't afford all of the commons I want along with the exclusives I want all at once anyway. I will be hunting hard for the exclusives I want on Force Friday, assuming they are released on that day, and just pick up the commons I want over the following weeks. Hopefully I will have everything I want by the release of the movie. However, I will be making an exception for my favorite common, Jyn Erso. The rest can wait. Of course I don't know how well I'll be able to resist buying more than I should when I'm standing in front of them for the first time. lol

This is arguably the best wave of Pops Funko has produced overall. Sure there are a couple that are underwhelming, but most of them are amazing. Most of them have an incredible level of detail.

Love the new Darth Vader molds...definitely need those. Both Death Trooper's are next on the list. Not sure that I want the Saw Gerrera since the box has his name spelled incorrectly from the get go.

I really love all three Jyns, which will definitely join my collection, as well as the Chrome Death Trooper and Vadr in his action pose. All the other don't really appeal to me.

Agreed. I love the exclusive hunt when a series first comes out. Those commons aren't going anywhere. Can't wait for this film!

Funko Rogue One Assortment has popped up into Walgreens system. I ordered a case for my store, I guess we'll see if they actually come on Friday. I really doubt they would ship out this soon. And it says assortment, so I'm wondering if the Walgreens exclusive will come in the case with commons like they do at Target. That's never been the case with Walgreens exclusives though.

I hear ya. Its so hard with SW pops coming out constantly. I usually just buy individual ones I want from important parts of the movies. I dont collect the whole wave.

Hey guys just wanted to provide an update. Today was my stores (Walgreens) order release date. I tried to order the Rogue One pops but it canceled them when the order released. It gave me an expectancy date of 10/18. So we'll see, but no rogue one pops on Friday.

Love all of these, but why are there so many Star Wars pops in every release now? My Star Wars collection is out of control. I am going to seriously have to make a decision soon and only collect certain Star Wars things. Especially when they are going to be releasing a new movie every year and they are still making pops for the Original Trilogy and Prequels and Rebels! I can't keep up!

I am feeling the same way, I want all of them but can't justify spending that much money especially when my wife is telling me we need our own house now.

I have to seriously start making some decisions about Star Wars. Especially for all the new movies. Maybe I'll just pick one or two characters from each movie to collect. Right now I am leaning toward just droids and ladies. So BB-8 and Rey from TFA and Jyn from Rogue One. And then I will collect all the characters I loved from the Original Trilogy so still would get the new Vaders. Hmmm....

I love the detail on the rogue ones but I'll probably only cop the exclusive Vader, Walmart exclusive death trooper, and Walgreens exclusive trooper (only because I snag all Walgreens exclusives.) And yes the Ashoka is a must for me too. I only own about 25 pops. I buy only what I like and don't bother with collections and I do not by duplicates of characters. I feel like 25 is too many honestly, but I can't stop lol

Oh man, you say it like that and all of a sudden I am very interested in Jyn and Capt. Andor. I loved Dark Forces and was disappointed when it wasn't being adapted in some way for Rogue One.

Jyn/Kyle: ties to the empire, recruited by Mon Mothma to steal the Death Star plans aided by...
Cassian/Jan: The Rebel spy that is assigned to the recruit and flies the ship. Recruit and Spy will probably get together in the end

I also hope that prequel pops won't be difficult to find or obtain exclusives. there's only really 6 or 7 prequel pops i want so I'd like to not spend an arm and leg on them

Hey, yeah, good point. Disappointed Katarn isn't canon (yet?!) but I am definitely looking forward to the film.

Hopefully the best prequel pops aren't something garbage like Specialty exclusives.

I'm thinking the only exclusive that will be tough to get on here will be the GameStop/EB Vader. My plan of attack: Walmart at midnight of Force Friday (or Rogue Friday, or whatever they call it this year) 9/30. Then Target and HT when they open.

I saw him when he was first announced. He's honestly one of my favorites just based on looks. I'm interested to learn the characters story.
