I believe last year they started selling everything at like noon on the Friday and just kept adding things to their site throughout the next few days.

As for the reveals, the Zombie AT piece looks great but I'm happy that I won't be buying any of these. Saves my wallet a little bit for Fundays pieces.

I doubt there will be protos for these as much as I really hope there are. They have the same number so no new molds to prototype. I'm still hoping these exist though

I just can't stand zombies anymore. I was sick of zombies before the whole craze with Walking Dead and everything hit, as my ex was a huge zombie fanatic and forced me to watch every zombie movie that had been made. I reached my tipping point with the horrible 28 Days Later. So poor zombie Pops will never appeal to me..

Trust me... You know how I like my halo protos I really hope these exist. I've never seen a blue b&n master chief proto so that's why I'm assuming these won't show up either. That was just a color change to an existing mold.

No one ordered 20 BOF's .. let's not exaggerate anymore that we have too please ..

.. but one flipper ordered 10 .. and two ordered 8 ..

Everyone that comes (and has paid there admission price) to Fundays gets a BOF .. each person checks in at the door .. the list gets checked off .. and then you get your BOF handed to you ..

If you come to Funday with empty Hefty bags .. you leave with empty Hefty bags ..

Here's what I don't understand (and forgive me if this has been asked and answered already as I've been absent from the forum quite a bit this week)...

Everyone that attends Fundays gets a BOF when they enter the event, which is, I believe, 300 in attendance.
Some of these Exclusives are a production run of only 480, that leaves only 180 remaining for purchase.
Some of those are already claimed because additional BOF have been preordered.
So in theory, that would mean Funko would run out of those pieces and they would not be available at the Con or for purchase thru Gemini.

Here are my two questions:
1. Couldn't someone who preordered a BOF possibly end up not getting one of the 480 production run pieces because Funko ran out?
2. Isn't there the possibility that items being revealed in this thread will not be available at the booth or on Gemini because they ran out before the show due to Fundays and preorders?

Sorry if this is a silly question, but I'm curious as to what happens. And with this year's attendance at Fundays being sold out and Funko's popularity growing (which is awesome!) I'm interested to know how this type of thing gets handled. Especially since I cannot attend Fundays or SDCC so I live vicariously through all of you!

I think you've confused BOFs with the pre-order. A BOF (Box of Fun) has limited Freddy's that aren't part of the pre-order/SDCC exclusives. Most BOF Freddy's are 1 of 96 and then there are other versions that are 1 of 12 and other items limited like that that are given away.

Perhaps so, but that's why I'm asking the questions. I'm new to this BOF and preorder stuff and last year I ended up overpaying for my SDCC Exclusives from eBay (from dreaded flippers) because I didn't know enough about where to go and I wasn't a member of the forum yet. And this year there are some pieces I want to make sure I don't miss out on!

We don't know what edition size the bof pieces are...historically there have been three freddys in a bof but that doesn't mean there will be this time...last year there were eight different freddys loaded into the bofs randomly...you can not buy anything at fundays which is why people pay for extra tickets so they can hopefully get all of the different freddys...Gemini may or may not get all of the freddys in a limited quantity to sell on the site...last year i had six bofs between my partner and I and ended up with only one complete set of eight out of the eighteen freddys in the six bofs...there are no guarantees that you will get any additional pieces that Brian gives out as awards/prizes/gifts. Not trying to be a downer, just want everyone to know the reality of the event...excluding awards last year, i got zero protos from the proto table so do not get your expectations up.
