I will be looking to get almost all these, but have had horrible luck with Toy Tokyo in the past. I need some luck to secure some of these without paying an arm and a leg is how I'm feeling.

Yoko and Cameron just posted a quick Periscope clip of the TT exclusives, they mainly showed the Dorbz 3 pack and Count Chocula ride. They unboxed CC and he looks incredible! Count is indeed metallic as a few of us wondered about up above in the thread. The car isn't, but it is extremely cool and really nicely detailed. Here's the clip:

This is my first year with NYCC and Toy Tokyo so out of curiosity does Toy Tokyo normally have their convention exclusives on their website after the con and if so when are they posted or barring that are there any ways to get them without going to the convention. Also how well does ordering from Toy Tokyo normally go.

I'd really love the metallic green ranger, the space ghost, and the GITD wolfman.

Toy Tokyo doesn't promise anything as far as online sales. Their intent is to sell their exclusives at the con. That said, they usually do end up with enough left over that they sell them online after the con as well. It's best to watch their FB and IG pages to get hints on when they'll go up for sale, or of course you can always watch Eye on the Web here because someone will usually post about it. Their more popular exclusives can go very quickly, like within minutes of being posted. So some diligence is required.

Last year TT offered flocked Wolf Man for SDCC. I have a complete collection of the Universal Monsters so that was one of my priority pieces for SDCC. It sold out at the con and was never offered on their web site. I never saw it on eBay for less than 50 bucks (believe me, I was watching the auctions every day). I ended up paying 55 or 60 for it out of fear of missing out. It climbed higher but settled around 100 and has been there ever since. I guess what I'm saying is unless you're attending the con, steel yourself for paying more than retail for these.

That is an excellent question. The original ghosts were park only. The glow ghosts were SDCC only. The gold idol Indy was SDCC only and the sword Indy I'm not sure about, was he only available online in the Disney Store or was he in parks too? He wasn't at SDCC though. But based on that history it seems like Indy's Ride will probably be con only. Which is strange, because -normally- unnumbered con exclusives are available somewhere else. But it seems Indy is different.

I'm betting on the Indy Ride being at the parks in some form, whether it be an alternate sticker or a variant Indy. I just can't see Disney Parks not putting out merchandise based on one of their ride vehicles.

Im hoping that the Indy Ride...if it gets put in the parks, we have a variant with Sallah in the car.(Makes sense one you consider who runs the Indy ride)

I love the Cereal Monsters Dorbz! The only two things I really want from NYCC are both Dorbz 3-Packs and I hope I'm lucky enough to score at least one of them through Popcultcha or Forbidden Planet. I'm assuming my FPI experience won't be as pleasant as my SDCC experience this year, just because all US collectors have to try to get on there now since Popcultcha isn't an option anymore. Popcultcha saying they'll sell some (most likely the super limited ones) only at their pop-up store doesn't really make it easier. We'll see how it goes, I wish everyone luck and hope everyone gets what they want in the end!

Toy Tokyo has some nice exclusives and It's gonna suck paying premium price for that Green Ranger since I'm not going to the con. Hopefully there are some extras on their site after NYCC but I'm not very optimistic about that.

I am going thur and friday. WHile i know the signing is happening friday the way Toy Tokyo blog post made it sound I should be able to get the Green Ranger at Booth. Assuming I get a wrist band. That is my only serious want of the year. The rest of the funko booth ones that I have any interest in I can get in store.

I do not know if anybody saw this but looks like Deadpool, IZombie and Rogue 1 pops should be available at FYE booth (who knew they had a booth )

I hate complaining, but I cannot believe they are going to NYCC with not a single thing for the Captain America 75th Anniversary - especially after the mega-dorbz mess at SDCC. Would it have killed them to do a Golden Age Captain America and/or Bucky instead of more Batman and Deadpool variants? I mean, Batman just got a Golden Age variant this month, but they can't do one for Cap's anniversary??

That's a good call, but to be fair, they did release two variants for Cap's anniversary. Amazon and Kohl's both had exclusives. Agree that perhaps a more unique Cap variant would have been better than Chef Deadpool.

tbh I don't think I would be as bothered by this as I am, if they had given the Kohls exclusive the original triangular shield instead of trying to pass off the repaint shield as Commander Rogers's energy shield. Sure I would have been seriously disappointed that we didn't get a Golden Age Bucky or a BuckyCap (because it's his anniversary too), but by this point I've learned Marvel has no real intentions to merchandise Bucky in any of his forms.

But the lack of any real variant Captain America POPs - in New York of all places - just blows my mind. (and let's not forget that another Batman variant was announced for NYCC today)

A new sculpt wouldn't have been too much to ask for (Batman has them) they could have done like seven variants for the mold it's not like he wouldn't have sold , a Bucky Cap would have been amazing as well... Maybe something cool will pop up in the funkoshop who knows

They did that for SDCC last year, but I think they only did it because they were trying to unload the Hikari exclusives that no one wanted. There was such a huge, HUGE backlash that they elected not to do it for NYCC last year, and this year for SDCC they listed exclusives individually instead of bundling. So I doubt they'll do a bundle for NYCC... or ever again
