To start things off, May 6th also happens to be Free Comic Book Day, so if anyone of the Minneapolis attendees are interested in stopping by a comic shop early that day, let me know! Cole and I know where to go!
As far as the actual gathering, I'm still mulling around some ideas, but if anyone has any ideas of their own, I'd really like to hear them.

Everything's gonna run somewhat similar to last years' Wobbler Summit, except this year we will be meeting at 2:30. The meeting place hasn't been 100% finalized yet, but the spot I'm considering should be fun for everyone. It should be a pretty fun and relaxed day, and I look forward to seeing everyone!
I'll post more on that meeting place in a week or 2!

The meeting spot has been finalized, and we'll be meeting at Killroy's @ 2:30pm on Saturday, May 6th. They specialize in antique and replica memorabilia, so if you're a big Coke collector or a jukebox connoisseur, you may want to bring your checkbook- they've got tons of really cool stuff!

As Al posted in his FDO thread, a HTF item will be available to purchase during Funatics Day Out (in very limited quantities), and the cost is $16 each. It's not an exclusive, but it's a pretty cool piece that hasn't seen much light yet. If you're not signed up for one of the FDO's, don't worry because this piece will be available soon!

Well, FDO in Minneapolis was a fantastic time!!!! I personally enjoyed myself and as always it is wonderful to see my Midwest Funatics!! Al (Wackyhead), his wife Liz, Len (Krusty) his wife Lori, their beautiful daughter Sophie, Cory (Mrcory5000), his wife Lindsey, their son Cole along with myself were all in attendance. It was fun to to talk wobbler, have a great meal, and catch up on each others lives.
A big Thank You to Cory for organizing FDO!!!!! I would say it was a great success. The exclusive purple FDO Johnny Fang is utterly fantastic!!! Thanks Brian for commemorating FDO 2006! The FDO 2006 button designed by Ron (Glowfunkofreak) and the Magnet designed by Cory were also great additions to the day.
A big Thank You to Len for working out a deal for the attendees to get Goldy Gopher. He is even more fantastic in person!!
I hope the attendees in Hollywood & New York had as great a time as we did here in Minneapolis!!

I still miss Sister Fun, but Kilroy's was amazing- it seemed like we were there for hours roaming through all the great stuff! It was great seeing the midwest gang again, and I hope to see everyone later this year as the Midwest Wobbler Summit moves south for some fun in Iowa. As far as FDO goes, it was a tad bit stressful during the initial planning stages, but once I got Al & Ron on board, everything just worked out amazingly! And then when I got a big ole' box of boxed Goldy Gophers (thanks again Len!), I knew that the 1st Funatics Day Out was going to be a great thing. I'm really glad everyone in the other cities had a great time, and hopefully we'll be able to do a second FDO next year with the addition of a city or two.
Before I click "Submit," I'd like to thank Brian at Funko for hitting a homerun with the Purple Fangs! It exceeded my expectations!!!
DID YOU KNOW: Getting a Fang variant was actually Cole's idea, and since it was such a great one, he'll be getting a great big box of goodies from the Con this July.

i think next year there should be a FDO in the southeast somewhere. it seems like there are a lot of us down here in tennessee, alabama, north carolina, and arkansas.
it sounds like it was a blast. can anyone post a pic of the purple fang please?

NESS!
Sorry, I was unable to bring my digital camera since it in the shop getting fix. The guy had try to get it fix by FDO. But unable, cuz he had to end up order some part for it.
Anyway, it was great to see Midwest Funatics again, but sadly to say that other 6 unable to attended. My wife & I really enjoy looking around at Kilroy's.
Len and Lori, u have a beautiful daughter (as my wife say the same)
Hey Cole, that is a brilliant of u to come up with the ideas of Fang variant . . How u come up that color of purple? He is awesome in that color. It just perfect!!! 8) I think u should be working for Funko.
Brian, Thanks for the awesome Purple Johnny Fang
Thanks Cory and Ron for the awesome button & magnet.
Len, like Kevin said about Goldy Gopher Wobbler(not bobble, like it say on the box)
Len & Cory & Kevin, I will be seeing u all again in about 10 weeks.
Wackyhead 8)
