Special Share from Fundays 1
I have a special share today that is apart of Funko history! The display piece I obtained was part of the front of the life size wacky wobbler photo op box display at the first fundays event at Sparkys at Universal CityWalk Hollywood on October 19, 2002! This display was introduced by having yellow paper over it hiding everything, everyone did a countdown before the paper dropped. After the countdown the paper was dropped revealing Mike Becker inside as well as all the Funko pieces!! All Funatics who were there had the opportunity to get a photo inside the box! The event was shown on ABC 7 news back in 2002 and featured in the Making Fun Documentary in 2018! I’m super honored to have this piece of Funko history!! Hope everyone has a great day and an awesome weekend!! Don’t forget to smile my friends!!

Always enjoy hearing the stories from back then. Wish we had a Time Machine to go back and experience some of the old fundays. I may need to watch the documentary since it’s been a while since I last watched it (last year)

It’s been a few years since I’ve watched it, but I have been wanting to watch it again as well. Such a good documentary with awesome old school footage. Love the clips of the first Fundays.

Aw man, I wish I was there in person. A life-size young-er Mike Becker wackly wobbler is downright historic!
So many cool bobble-heads in that window display too. In-person Marketing from Funko back then was truly iconic.
