Postby TheSecondKira » Thu Jul 11, 2024 2:49 pm

The Fred Fruity Pebbles and Barney Cocoa Pebbles have got to be my favorite Project Fred mascot/logo designs so far.

Anyone trying for them?

I'm torn... I do like them a lot though
As Brian Mariotti once said.... Go boxless, it’s more fun!

Good luck to all going for these. I like both flavors of cereal, but I think I like the standard version of this best with Fred. Not sure if I will be trying this close to con season.

I like the concept behind Project Fred, but my brokeass can't justify the cost.

I'm happy they made them but for me it's probably a pass (just higher priority things right now). But good luck to those going for it.

I am going to try for it as well. I love Fruit Peebles and it's Fred, lol. Great combo.

It's a great design and I'm also torn because I'm definitely watching my wallet pre-sdcc, such poor timing.

I don't collect Project Fred, but I completely agree with you that this latest drop is my favorite design they've come out with! When the first one was announced as Freddy as Big Boy I really thought Project Fred would all be high-end "Freddy as Character" figures, and I was disappointed to see the Coke, Sprite, Icee figures basically look like Artist Series Pops. I know there's a market for that style, but it's just not my preference! Freddy as Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble look really nice to me rather than slapping the Fruity Pebbles logo all over the figure.

For those who do like the Project Fred figures with the "Artist Series style"/ logos all over them, I would genuinely like to hear what you all like about that style? :)
