One thing I always wondered is why more stores don’t do the box thing like GameStop. I figure with the chance of chase they sold quite a few of them. The DC ones at Target didn’t do so well since they were always on clearance. Hot Topic did at least one Anime box, right?

I agree I think they are slowing done on the boxes and moving forward with the soda/game line. A Amine box would be hit if they ever decide to roll them out and I would love to see a Attack on Titan or Castlevania.

But there definitely have been one offs before. Hot Topic and Crunchyroll paired up for an “Ani-May” box a few years ago with a pop from “The Ancient Magus’ Wife,” but again not really a sub box. I think we are talking about two different things. A sub box is one that you literally subscribe to.

I would for sure sign up with something like an anime box. It would be dope having like attack on titan, my hero academia, and even some smaller ones like mob psycho 100.

This would probably have to go through Crunchyroll or something like that. I’m not sure that Funko owns enough anime licenses to keep it interesting. Though I would for sure join if this becomes a thing.

Funko got out of the sub box game themselves awhile ago. I think you can still get like marvel or dc through Amazon, but you'd probably need Crunchyroll or some other company to be the primary for the boxes.

The chase is fun when you have a chance to catch or effort nets you a chance at the prize - not throwing money at poor infrastructure, or jumping through invisible hoops built to seemingly trip you up.

I have a mighty need for this but like someone else said above, I think Funko is done with sub boxes unfortunately. An anime one would be fire tho.

I remember subscribing to Loot crate for the Goku exclusives. Wish Funko would bring back something similar.
