That's what I'm thinking. I suspect it's only open to founders (and apparently some other early subscribers) until the 13th, then they're going to open it up to anyone and everyone. Who knows, it may even be available in the future at a discount like the past smugglers bounty boxes are right now! That sure would be aggravating for anyone who's buying one now.

The timing on this thing is just odd. I'm confused as to why they would bring this out now, with so many other things going on and they know people are saving up for them. But, it's their world and they can do what they feel is best.

That's what I was thinking. Maybe even selling them at comic con like all of the other past boxes. I ordered it but fully expect it to show up more places.

If they end up offering it later to anyone than it doesn't seem very limited to me. I get the price may be scaring some folks off but still. I'm just afraid they are over hyping this box.

Besides the initial email that was sent out what other hype has there been? Genuinely curious if you've seen them say something somewhere else because I haven't come across anything else of the web.

Other than the email no there hasn't been anything I've seen. But what I'm talking about is in the email itself. They said it's very limited, made it available to Founders first and made it a perk they could get it, it's supposed to be bigger and better. And I think the price itself is a big hype. It is five times the normal cost, but no where near five times the size. So I'm just curious if it'll feel worth it at the price and if it really is that limited.

That size in the picture might just be an artist mock up and not the actual size, like how French fries look at McDonald's. We also don't know the actual depth (regardless of what the picture shows) of the box so that's something.

All I know is, if there's a Hikari in the box, I'm gonna be furious at myself... especially because I'm not alone and it'll be next-to-impossible to shift it, with probably 95% of buyers trying to sell theirs as well :p Kinda disappointed there's no shirt either. These Pops better be damn incredible...

Are we sure there isn't a shirt? MCC keeps our shirt sizes on file so I wouldn't be surprised to see a shirt in the box. Unless it was stated that there wouldn't be one and I missed it. It's going to be tough to wait until after SDCC to see what's in the box. :-k

I had a sub for my son and one for me with different shirt sizes. I've since dropped my sub but I'm sure I'm not the only one that had multiple subs with different shirt sizes. So it would make sense that if a shirt was included they would ask for the size.

I cant wait for this box!! And remember size does not mean value you can get a diamond and car that are worth the same but one takes alot less room!! I hope they have this for Smugglers Bounty as well cause I will be snatching it up no questions asked or no pauses!

I was thinking the same thing about Legion of Collectors. No brainer to pick up a DC version of this thing for me.

Tomorrow is the last day for the founders to be the only ones able to order. After that if they still have stock they'll open it up to everyone

If they're still up as of now they're probably not that limited.

I agree. I actually emailed them and asked how limited it was. They responded by saying "While we aren't releasing the exact numbers- it is limited and we expect it to sell out by the end of the week." :rolleyes:

I don't think they have yet. My friend was still able to order as of last night so unless it sold out from then till now, which I spose is possible, it's still available
