This truly seems like a situation where these aren't very limited at all, but Funko is attempting to create a hype to sell them.

This box didn't charge shipping when I ordered it. Though people did mention it being sold out on site so SDCC might be only way to get it now. Does anyone know for sure whether it is actually sold out?

I'm not a founder, as I like the month to month payments, and I'm beyond excited that I was able to order this box. I've liked all the boxes Marvel/Funko have put out so far, and I cant see this disappointing me(unless it has a hikari). Also since I haven't been able to get a badge for SDCC since 2012 this will be my SDCC purchase this year lol

I don't think they will include a hikari, they made these boxes with the notion that you will get a pop in every box with other items thrown in. (ok so the guardians box really doesn't count but still). I think they are aware that everyone is paying $125 to get some awesome stuff.

I just got into collecting not to long ago and just found out about the subscription even more recently than that so definitely glad I got to buy the box. I'm really hoping something amazing is in it. I couldn't go to SDCC since I'm on the other side of the country now so hopefully this will give me some goodies to makeup for not going to SDCC.

I assume the tax is applicable in some states & not in others, so that may be a slight difference for some.

Might get lucky & have the same set up as last year with a separate booth across from the main booth just for the sub boxes. Never more than a few folks at best in line whenever I walked by it last year.

I'm new to all of this but these subscription boxes are just fun. I ordered the year long subscriptions (mcc/legions/sb), and was able to place an order for year one. I'm super excited! I cant wait to see what's inside lol

I don't know if it's confusion. I got the shipping free but maybe it's the $10 in taxes that might be getting confused? If not, I don't know hmm

If these are being sold at SDCC too, does that rule out the possibility of a Hikari? I can't imagine Funko making another Hikari that was a multi-thousand piece edition? They all have seemed to be under 1000 since I joined

My feeling is no Hikari because most of the newer collectors only buy Pops. So if those people get burnt this time around any further year boxes for any of the three subscriptions will not sell out. Anything short of three Pops or one six inch and one regular people will be upset, unfortunately.

Yes, this was my original thought...for $125, they have to really send something good out or this may not work out for future year one boxes for LOC or Smugglers Bounty. Fingers crossed [-o<
