If I am trying hard for a specific Chase I have definitely opened some in the parking lot and gone back in to buy more.

Nope, I open them all, and usually throw most of the cans away. I don't have room to display the cans and figs.

Cans are the best part of it. I love the packaging on these and display them side by side with the figure. But I guess the figures are the best part for most

Do you resist the urge open a Soda to see if there's a chase and keep at least some unopened Soda as part of your collection?
I couldn’t wait I enjoy opening the sodas!

I don’t worry about my sodas being shipped but my Funko pops, I’m sweating & praying at the same time.

We.used.to jeep the cans behind or beside the figure, but now we really dont have anymore room and have to get creative with our displays and something had to to go. We kept some of the cans. And now we have 3 liter bottles to deal with.

Ha, I've do it for the opposite reason. I've gotten home, opened a chase and had to go back out to get the common. So now I open them in store (after purchasing of course) to see if I need to grab another for the common.

The 3 litres are a pain. I think we just display the bottle . No room to do both like the cans.
But I understand the needing space.

If the soda has a chase, then I definitely open. I usually buy two if there is a potential for a chase. If I open the first one and it is the chase, then I leave the other unopened. If the soda does not have a chase, I leave it sealed until it's time for it to get displayed.

we only have a few of them. I do like them but Wish space wasn't that much of issue.

The fun is getting into the can to see the figure. While I love the cans and their designs, it's still about seeing the cool figure inside

I couldn’t agree any more. If you keep ‘‘em sealed, all you’re doing is displaying the can.

I always open them. I like the fact that I can display them and they are not kept in the box. I even bought a few of those Soda coasters from the soda coaster guy and they seem to look nice. Otherwise Im stacking them

Re: Do you collect unopened Soda?
At the start, I ALWAYS opened my Soda when I got it. But one day, I thought, "Ehh. I'll wait to open a bunch of these at once. It'll feel like Christmas!" and I STILL haven't opened a lot of them.
While I prefer to display Sodas un-canned, I've grown to appreciate a sealed Soda.

No hate to anyone who does this but ive legitimately never understood this. The whole joy is to open the can and see what you go. Plus, the can and soda have their own cool display features

Not sure how people can do that. Sometimes, I even open mine in the car instead of waiting for when I get home.

You always have to open them, gotta find that chase!
My only exceptions are the NYCC ones where they have no chase.

I’m echoing others to say who in the right mind has the Will power of leaving the cans sealed? Don’t you want to know if you found the chase???

I have an extra set that I left unopened but definitely opened one of each! Sodas, not unlike pops, are best enjoyed out of the package!
