Re: No more LE Counts for Sodas?
Maybe I missed something, but it doesn't seem like every new soda is no longer LE #d. So far the only ones I recall seeing that aren't numbered are recent Marvel ones (aside from Endgame Cap, but that's an EE exclusive).
The Wondercon Sodas are all numbered
66 Batman
Marty McFly
Front Man (Squid Games)
Ian Malcolm
Just as a few examples. I don't think we're seeing the last of LE #d sodas, just the expansion of certain lines to make them more widely available.

You didnt miss anything, if anything I think some people believed when Funko announced that some sodas at target and Walmart were coming without an LE that it would apply to all sodas, which is not the case. I believe the only non LE sodas will be ones sent to mass market retailers (target, Walmart, best buy) this is because they aren't going to have LE of 100k and so if they sell really well they can just reprint more, like hot topic does with their exclusives.

So - is Funko moving away with LE count Funko sodas?
I hope they stop doing the no le sodas it takes the fun out of sodas and the le makes a soda special against anything else.

Sadly - they won’t be going away - there will be 2 main categories of sodas moving forward - the LE ones and the main-line ones. In fact, they just announced 3 new Marvel’s What If Sodas yesterday (all of them are main-line - so no LE counts).

I saw that as well Renard. I dont know how to feel anymore about these no LE Counts, i am starting to feel the desire to hunt for a truly limited chase is going away, and that was a huge part of the fun. I get folks are still saying 1/6 is still a chase, but I still like knowing that the Chase itself is LE. I guess my wallet has taken a quick break,

It sucks there doing that it’s because they want to spread sodas to stores like Walmart and target but the main issue with that is by the time you see it in stores they all have been weighed and opened.

I cannot understand why no limited number count makes all sodas common now

I agree. These are mass marketed which is cool. Just like every Pop! isn't and LE. Will be curious to see if and which retailers want to pick up this line.
As long as its a one off I dont mind it! I think its super helpful actually. But when its the entire line im not a fan
I went to Walmart yesterday and all the soda cans were opened. Some had the plastic completely ripped off and others had just the top cut off to not draw attention to the opened can. This sucks.

The difficult part is determining chases,
The upcoming wonder con sodas are limited. The Bugs Bunny chase is my fave.
I like that one a lot too!

Re: No more LE Counts for Sodas?
I think this must be the trade-off for this BIG retail companies -- what's the point of making it LE if they can sell thousands upon thousands.
I'm sure they'd rather have that than LE for their customers.
At least, we still get LE pieces for Funko, Con events and other smaller chain retail shops.

I read somewhere that Marvel doesn’t like limited pieces so their sodas are the only ones without the limited numbers

That's interesting. Makes sense since they basically print money with anything they make.

Well, they certainly don't limit the 'Freddy as [Insert Marvel character here]' Pops for Fundays, haha!

Weird decision since now the only thing I see on shelves are the non-LE marvel sodas

Hmmm.......... didn't know that but now it explains why there hasn't been a LE for Marvel.

that would be pretty nuts from them to completely drop counts on sodas

Id wager they move forward with mass release on anything like Marvel, DC, etc but anything more niche retains its LE

DC also has new sodas with no count. The Shazam ones do not have number counts on them. Not sure about others.
