Since they just released the new Indiana Jones pops, might as well make a Indy soda

Would love an abominable snowman from the Matterhorn. A pirates of the Caribbean parks exclusive would be awesome as well.

Would love abominable snowman with a flocked chase. Also, just got the pirates dog (finally) so would definitely like to see that in soda form too!

The abominable snowman with a flocked chase sounds like a great plan, hope it happens, it would be great.

Yeah I am surprised how hit or miss the Pop sales are at the parks. I wonder if that is why we haven't seen Disney park exclusives for awhile now.

I have notices how a lot of the larger pops kind of sit there. Hopefully they go back to standardized pops and maybe more characters like the Abominable. There's a lot to choose from. Heck, even the retro Astronauts from Tomorrowland would go over great, just keep the edition sizes relatively small.

I think they need to hit some old school more iconic and longer standing park characters. A lot of bland releases have been Star Wars / Marvel related too.

Yeah, the Indy ones just don't hit like they should. Anything old school will always do well for the most part.

I remember going down super early to get in line for a park release but that is when they were a low LE. Now I feel it just depends on the popularity of the character or ride whether a pop or soda, but you do some haunted mansion ghost sodas that are GITD and I will be there.

The only one I was able to attend was for the abominable snowman and there was a bunch of people but I think it depends on the character since him, haunted mansion, and Indiana Jones were unique at the time

I believe the pandemic changed so many things including releases and how many people were willing to stand in line for hours with other people. But when I went to Wondercon 2 years ago it didn't stop people for lining up for the Funko booth in the very early hours of the morning which why i think they went back to lottery.

Yeah exactly. If people want something bad enough they will wait. I used to wait 5-6 hours for funko at Sdcc lol before the lottery (I dislike the lottery but I get it). Disney had absolutely crazy lines during the pandemic for their popcorn buckets. Last year at SDCC the lines were crazy long at every outside exhibit. Funko is also very hit or miss at Disney for some reason.

The thought of having to struggle to get these Disney park exclusives already has me excited :bom: I can totally see these happening but with the soda’s, I’d be worried most would be opened in an attempt to get the chases.

Me thinks that actual production counts could be also more with the recent releases compared to the first few waves of releases like Indy Jones and the Ghosts, and even those Figment/Orange Bird drops was hyped as well.

True, it seems like they swung the pendulum too far the other way on some releases. If they can nail that limited feel but not impossible to get ratio, they'll have golden drops every time.

I could definitely see a Big Al Soda. Part of what appealed to me with Sodas early on was the mixture of ubiquitous and Obscure characters. There’s lots of Disney Parks possibilities.
