Luckiest Soda Purchase

What has been your luckiest Soda purchase?

Mine was my most recent purchase from the Funko shop.
1 Rick Sanchez - Chase
1 Frankenstein - Chase
2 Yzma - Chase and common

The first two sodas I got were Huckleberry Hound and Big Boy. I got one of each and both were chases

I finally got a Chase! Last night I opened a Queen Amidala Soda I received from Funko Shop and I am so happy.

My lucky pull (last one) had to be Oswald the lucky rabbit. I managed this at retail at Funko Hollywood store.

I’ve been on a drought for a long while (5 diff purchases at Hollywood store) —

since I used to buy retail sodas at Gemini collectibles and been able to pull chases with most of my purchases.

uhh actually purchase wise, off the top of my head, wondercon recently ~
got super lucky with the queen 3 liter! chase for me!
& i rubbed/touched i think 2-3 of our friends (thats what she said??) and they also scored the queen chase!
i made a joke saying thats not luck tho, thats just
the employee grabbing whatever on the shelf

& one of the aqua sox game i attended (the day before
funkon 2 at everett?) i got the chase mascott! gifted to our good friend david core memory for me since that was a good night

The first sodas I bought were the banana splits from a year ago at Wondercon. I posted up for FunkoSODASaturday and won a prize pack from Brian. That’s probably the luckiest purchase I had.

So I Pre-ordered two Zombie Hunter Spiderman Sodas from target a while back. I usually buy two and hope for the best. I end up giving the extra common to either one of my kids. My order arrived about a couple weeks ago. I wasn’t expecting it, but I got lucky and pulled a common and a chase. I’m never that lucky so I was super stoked!

Side note- I’m not sure if anyone has done it with sodas. I know some funatics have done it Mystery Minis. I decided to weigh each one of my Zombie Hunter Spiderman Sodas (in all of the original packaging) to see if there was a difference. The Chase was 133 grams and the common was 139 grams.

I know this may not apply to all sodas, especially ones with a simple paint variations. But I wonder if anyone else has done this. Either way, if you are hunting for a Spiderman man Chase, this may be one way to help out!

Was at HQ with my wife almost 2 years ago. The store manager at the time, Liz, came out before opening and said there were some open sodas in the build a pop area. We were able to grab four and they were all APs.

Luckiest Soda Purchase, has to be one from Beehive Collectibles. I had preordered two cans of Luke Skywalker and Storm trooper, and just my luck I snagged 1 chase each. The owner at Beehive is an awesome guy, and If anyone is in the Sac area you should go check out Beehive Collectibles.

Deep Discount used to be my honey hole. First ever order I got 7 or 8 sodas and only 1 was a common, rest were chases. Every order after 2 out of 3 were chases. I was hitting like no tomorrow and all good things come to an end, haven't hit a chase in like 6 months from them.
