Probably my favorite lucky chase pull was the first freddy soda drop. Ordered 2 and got 1 common and 1 chase!

What has been your luckiest Soda purchase?

Mine was my most recent purchase from the Funko shop.
1 Rick Sanchez - Chase
1 Frankenstein - Chase
2 Yzma - Chase and common

Mine were the cereal monster chases I bought for about $40ish a chase back in 2019. Next thing I know in 2020, they skyrocketed. Same for the Batman chases. I picked up the Pink Batman chase for $50 a short time after ECCC. Super luck with those early purchases.

This might come as a shock but the sodas didn't come out until 2020, they were announced late 2019. Congrats on the chase nonetheless!

Not necessarily a purchase, but a trade. We traded our extra blacklight White Rabbit with a friend (who got more into collecting Funko during the pandemic) for a sealed Thor soda he had. It was the first Thor can I opened and that one-can magic. And ToysRUsKid gave us an extra common Thor he had.

I pre-ordered two Underdogs to double my chances. Almost bought a whole box because Shoeshine Boy as a chase was the best chase ever.

Pulled two chases!

Of course then I had to buy another one to get the regular. #firstworldproblems

Just happened to see the Cowboy Bebop Edward soda at Boxlunch and knew the chase had a corgi so knew the gf would be interested since she has a corgi/loved Edward from the anime. Picked it up and sarcastically exclaimed to my gf "this is the chase," all matter-of-fact like. Both laughed about it and I said I'd buy it. It was the chase. Used up all my luck for the year for a soda, .

I would say my luckiest pull was the SDCC toucan. I think I got it on a re-stock. I got both common and chase.

I think I had the same luck. I went to funko hollywood and got two Cap'n Crunch sodas. Both ended up being chases so I had to go to mercari to get common.

That’s awesome! This has happened to me too except it was a Disney vinylmation. Whenever I hear someone says that it’s like I have to immediately purchase it out of curiosity. Also I love that She-Ra soda!

have we ever gotten any type of confirmed narrative on AP's? are they reserved for giveaways or sprinkled into randomly distributed merch? maybe a little of both? any idea on the number of AP's per soda? i see them pop up a bit but i guess i've never ventured to ask about it.

Luckiest Soda Purchase has to be a Yummy Mummy chase. Was only able to get one from Funko and was lucky enough to pull the Fruit Brute Colored Yummy Mummy. Still one of my favorites.
