Soda Photography (Blacklight, GITD & others)
Hi Funatics!
Been scrolling the soda pages recently and i was inspired to take some GITD, Blacklight (UV) pics of funko sodas! One of my kryptonite have always been gitd pops, dorbz and now sodas since i have recently started collecting them.
This thread is just to share more of my love for glow or blacklight (or infact any photography) for sodas like i have previously done for pops and dorbz.
Hope everyone enjoys the pics and those who love sodas can also drop some nice pictures to share around.
Here's my first contribution to soda photography

It’s nice for the saber to be glow in the dark but I was really hoping some part of the whole Soda do have some glow too.

Yeea, would have been nice to have its body glow but nonetheless still a nice piece from the star wars line.

Another one of my recent favorite would have to be baxter glow!
That green glow is just awesome and really makes me reminisce the old funko pop glow where it was super bright green. I guess that the difference between using a Vinyl glow materials vs a painted on glow finish.
But here to another awesome glow in my collection of sodas!

I was at first disappointed that only the lightsaber was GITD on the Vader Soda, but then I thought about it more, and I imagined being in darkness and only seeing the blaze of a red saber and I scared myself haha. I just love me some Vader

The baxter one really outshone alot of other gitd sodas. i suspect that its because its vinyl glow material instead of paint on.

I think that's what they were going for. Like the scenes where it's dark and you just see his red Saber. Scary stuff.

Oh no. I believe more lights and Phone's lights unfortunately do not work for GITD.
To charge a gitd pop/soda or a blacklight, you need to get a UV light/lamp.
i do have a medium size 56 bulb UV lamp which is really bright (and handy for me to charge the glow / blacklight)
