Do you collect unopened Soda?

I've seen a number of people show off their Soda collections online and seen that not one of their Soda cans were opened Didn't even know people did that until I was seeing it.

Do you resist the urge open a Soda to see if there's a chase and keep at least some unopened Soda as part of your collection?

I always open my sodas to see what’s inside and of cos for photo taking and also display them!

100% same. I even started buying two chase sodas (when I could) just so I could open one and keep one sealed but that didn't last long once the first opened soda wasn't the chase. So now I just open thee chase sodas and leave the others sealed.

Whattttt there’s people who don’t open their sodas? :O I get it with pops there’s a window to see the figure but sodas you need to open to fully enjoy! Those are super in box collectors I could never, as soon as I get a soda I instantly open it!

I always open the soda main to check the pog and the figure, I have some Chase Pog with Regular Figure, not the opposite since then I always check it and return to the can. Also, do you never know If you get the AP, not luck yet.

I used to save them in a Pop Protector that way I didn't have to clean so much.

I always open them - it’s the only way to actually see the figure. And then the lid goes back on the can for display.

Same here, I have a metallic Count Chocula I have not opened yet because it doesn’t have a chase. I will open it eventually but for space reason I put them all back in the cans anyway, so I left it.

Release the sodas! That would be like having sealed mystery minis. Blows my mind some I wouldn't be able to keep them sealed if I wanted to, I think.

But honestly, if you're collecting the sodas and leaving them sealed (as in they're the only ones you have of those sodas) you're missing out on seeing some awesome figures.

I love the thrill of opening a soda. But I do have a full set of BL AIW and the Cereal monsters from Funko Shop sealed in my room. I got them from a friend and just never opened them I'll probably open them up this year and actually enjoy the figures and see if the BL AIW has any chases.

I always open my soda. Have to see if it’s a chase or not. My brother however has 2 nyc sealed Freddy soda just chillin in his room. I even told him I would pay him to open them. He won’t do it.

I open ALLLLLL my sodas!!!! But I do have two ones I keep sealed. One is an international Sloth (already have the US release chase and normal so I just keep it sealed for a neat weird thing in the collection) and then Robocop because I got sent one instead of my preordered Dracula and I like to keep it as a meme. The chase art makes me giggle

I always open because I have no self control and the thought of a chase gets to open every time. Only time I’ve kept a canned sealed was when there was no chase. I commend people that can keep em sealed!

Unless I plan on selling one or I got an extra to try to get a chase then I don’t understand keeping it sealed. Everyone collects differently so no judgment but I open all of mine.

I open all my sodas and happily display them. I do the same for most Funko pops. What’s the point of keeping it sealed? I don’t get it.

I a) don't have the will power to keep them sealed and b) really want to see the figures and display them.
