Funko Soda Figures!

For Fundays, we'll need a comic-con attendee Freddy, I think! Freddy with a nerd shirt, lanyard, overflowing backpack...all the accessories!

Like the Freddy that was on the exclusive shirt a few years back. I think the closest Freddy we got was a dorbz Freddy with a SDCC shirt on.

I missed that Freddy. And since I don't have him...it's obviously time for a new version!

Aquaman is absolutely my favorite of this batch! Glad they went traditional aquaman for him, he's going to fit so well with the rest of the DC sodas!

not my favorite, but i agree. so glad it's actually Aquaman and not the movie junk.

The more I thought about it, the more it had to be traditional Aquaman or he'd have looked so out of place with the rest of the DC sodas. Whatever the reasons though, I'm glad he looks the way he looks!

Don't know that I'll need anyone else out of this batch, but I've talked myself into other sodas before, so nothing surprises me anymore!

Especailly if they don't announce it and just say "yeah this one is X-number piece count and there is no chase"

I love the rare sodas where there's no chase. So much less pressure! Thankfully, most of the sodas are fabulous as the common and the chase is just a fabulous bonus!

How many of those have they done so far? I can only recall the rocketeer, but maybe that's the most recent?

I was thinking Rocketeer, but don't we have some coming up without chases? Booberry, Count Chocula and Fruit Brute, I think...? Which of course will create a different type of pressure!

It would be cool if the podium is a foreshadowing for what they might release in the future as it relates to sports and olympics.

I would really love to start seeing some sports sodas, would be a great addition to the collection!

Which sports would you like to see the most.

Personally, I'd go with hockey, but I could see basketball being a great line as well. My concern with sports is that the can might limit what the molds can do. But I have faith that Funko can do something creative and awesome to make them stand out!

After an announcement it's usually a few days until preorders and then actual release will be a few months.

My single Prince Adam says he's available 8/23. I may regret ordering only the one, but I definitely don't need an army of Prince Adam! I'll be quite happy with the common, though if I get lucky with the chase I may regret my poor life decisions!

Yes for some Hockey sodas! Gretzky, always in orange and blue! Of course I might be a little bias in that regard since I have strong ties to Edmonton.
