Fantastic reference to the Hro DC cards. That was a really fun experience at SDCC last year -- the perfect combination of NFT-meets-physical-meets-pop culture. it would be amazing if Funko had something similar.

I’m hoping that they have them again in the BOF.

Same here, I wound up with a rare last year.

This would actually be such a great idea. With how popular cards/pack openings are anyways, for us Funko NFT fans to be able to rip the physical packs would be great fun. Plus it would give a cool little card you could collect, or in the case of grails/legendries, add to the physical for display purposes

My guess is that is what their intentions were with the redeemable code cards in the Fundays boxes last year. Id be curious to see how much it actually brought new people into it

I love this idea. Could be like a 12-15 NFT series with a couple coming out each day to fill the entire theme out with different characters. (side note, I love your banner because the Simpsons are legendary!)

Here's a good question for folks liking the ideas of the cards would you buy them at SDCC:

1) If they only had a chance at getting a redeemable
2) If they were just physical cards, no redeemables.

NFTs as FUNDAYS exclusives would be an interesting turn of events for FUNDAY-goers!

Unless they already have them produced and ready to hand out haha.

I think some collaboration between NFTs and Fundays/SDCC would be cool. Like handing out a QR code that gives an NFT that could have a chance at a physical redemption.

I also got a rare Fundays NFT. It was even a low number! I think it would be great to continue the NFT tradition at the event every year. Wasn’t there an NFT given away at Fright Night last year too?

How far off do you think we are from getting a redeemable in some format through the NFTs at events? Even if it were 1/1s only I think that would be an awesome way to physically memorialize your digital pull!

They already do 1/1’s for the events but they are not redeemable.

I think it would be far more exciting if they told everyone to open up their packs at the same time (at the event). Have a redeemable pop LE 250 and those who got the redeemable can go get it right at the event!! Instead of your table winning, you have to win through the NFT pack opening!

Do you think there would ever be an in-person NFT release at the actual Con?
Or only online via social during the Con?

It would be cool if Funko employees handed out cards with an NFT code like they do with the pins. People who aren't familiar with NFTs might get into it to claim theirs.
