Droppp exclusives are a pain

Postby SusanBurk » Tue Mar 26, 2024 10:25 pm

Are other people frustrated with Droppp’s exclusive releases?

You can’t buy or sell right away through their market. They don’t allow pricing that’s not to the penny, which means a ton all sitting at the same minimum price. Listing in general is a pain because you can only list one at a time.

I love opening packs but I think today’s release will be my last Droppp exclusive.

Having used Droppp Marketplace for the last two drops, I prefer it versus Atomic Hub with reduced scamming. It is easier to buy with USDC than Wax. Exclusivity to Dropp may suck, but if they were to convert to all exclusives, I do not see that as a terrible choice. The platform can only improve as more people use it and provide feedback.

How about transferring to a wam wallet and selling on Ahub?

Droppp Exclusives can only be bought and sold on the Droppp Marketplace. There is no transfer. XD

My 2 biggest gripes are purchasing USDC and the fact that they need a cart feature so I can do small batches.

I'd assume he's talking about buying. Commons and Uncommons cost a lot more for Droppp exclusives.

Actually they don’t. I have about 130 commons and uncommon at $.05 each like thousands of other people and they just sit.

My point is for buyers, not sellers. You have to pay 5 cents for commons while if it’s not a Droppp exclusive you are paying less than a penny. I know we are only talking about a few bucks but it is more expensive.

Not a fan of Droppp marketplace. I tried selling extra commons on there and sold maybe 1 of 30. Switched them to AH and sold all fairly quick. The minimum price is a joke.

If they made it more AH-like it would be so much better IMO. Not being able to list at a penny or less somewhat defeats the whole purpose because as OP said there are so many that just sit at 5 cents. On top of that, USDC is kinda a pain since we all already had wax wallets.

I prefer it in 2 separate places so I don’t accidentally sell something I meant to keep.

I actually have 2 Droppp wallets, one for opening packs. From there I transfer redeemables I want to keep into my main Wax wallet, and everything else goes to Atomic Hub to sell. Transferring around is easy and keeps my main wallet clean.

I’ve bought and sold quite a few though Facebook. I’m an admin in a soda group and then did honest deals so I have enough references that it’s easy to do transactions. There is always a risk though and it’s too much of a hassle to sell anything below and epic on FB.

As I suspected, I still have 71 Star Wars commons in my wallet that will never sell.

If anyone wants them, send me your Droppp wallet address and they are yours.

Agreed. My only other gripe is the .5 minimum to purchase/sell but I'm okay with it as well since I don't believe their are "fake" listings on Droppp as of yet.
