Just a conversation starter really...

Is it just me, or is anyone else surprised that there has not yet been or even a rumored Marvel NFT Drop!? I find it rather strange considering Marvel holds pretty solid weight and I can imagine some pretty decent ones that could be made.

Could just be where they sit in the queue. If you look at the second series releases, they are probably on some sort of schedule so it's a matter of fitting it in between those as well as other things that are in the works. My assumption was they were going to use the release of a show or movie (cough, cough X-Men 97) to have a launch platform but it didn't happen. But we've now seen Star Wars so it's only a matter of time for Marvel.

Yeah it will eventually happens, we just don't know when and which one they are going to release

Took awhile for Star Wars and Disney too so will likely come. Unless they (Marvel) have some exclusive licensing elsewhere for NFTs?

That might be one of the main reasons for not seeing one yet.

Wonder if they're rethinking the marvel line redeemables. I know a lot of people were upset with star wars. That and licensing, maybe we'll see something closer to the end of the year

With all the licensing they have to do with it, probably why star wars took so long too

If they got the Disney License, you bet they got a Marvel one lined up. Maybe they wait for near MCU Secret Wars timing to release the NFTs

Totally agree with you. All the licensing involved with Disney/Marvel Studios probably takes some time. We did get the physical cards with Upper Deck though.

I'm 100% expecting any Marvel NFTs to be Dropp exclusive and follow the other Disney licenses of Mickey + Star Wars

I wonder if they waited for the Mythic Packs to be released so they could do something like Hulkbuster or Hulk or Galactus as a 10" Pop from the Mythic pack?

I would imagine it would be a Droppp exclusive with it being Disney. I would definitely be interested in Marvel.

I am no expert, but, my assumption anytime something hasn’t been made is due to licensing. It’s the same reason we haven’t seen the likes of Mario. Just my assumption though.

I assume licensing is indeed the cause for no Marvel so far, but if we ever do get it, here's some I would LOVE to see:

I am surprised they have not done Marvel NFT after ALL the other NFT pops they have done, but I am REALLY happy they haven't. I don't know how much that will cost me trying to get them all. Especially if they do Captain America, Winter Solider or Loki NFT.

I am surprised they have not had a Marvel drop yet. I think it will come soon. The issue with marvel that I see is there is already so many out there, but if they go too obscure or different characters, it might not be popular enough. But the opposite end is if they go with common characters, there isnt any excited around that either.
