I was thinking the same. They'd have to do something to get around the licensing restrictions. I know that a lot of Japanese creators are strict about using the likeness of their characters. Instead of Freddys we could just get more characters to expand lines. I'm also wondering how animation on the NFTs will be too? Have they used any anime characters in motion on any Funko marketing?

I think the “cosplay” title thrown in totally gives the impression of a loophole. If that’s the case, part of me almost wishes it was official vs implied. But I’ll still go after every single one regardless

Looking forward to seeing how this plays out. Even if there is no Freddy as "so and so" for funime. There are a number of nft lines that includes variants of a certain character or new character! Going to be interesting to see what they decide to put out.

I enjoy Scooby because it feels like they reach the furthest into the catalog for fun original pieces with that series. Hoping series 2 is as varied as 1 was. Funime seems like it has potential.
